Sc2tog --- Single crochet 2 together. Insert hook in next st, draw up

Color changing --- Cut the yarn and pull the end all the way through the
center of the last st made. Using a yarn needle: If joining sc
st: weave the end under both loops of the 2nd st to the left,
then back down through the center of the last st. If joining
sl st: weave the end under both loops of the next sl st to the
left, then back down through the center of the last sl st.
Crab Stitch --- Working a single crochet stitch from left to right, instead
of right to left.

Raincoat with hood (make 1)
Row 1 In blue, ch 58, turn --- 58 sts.
Row 2 ch 1, 1 sc in second st from hook, sc 57, turn --- 58 sts.
Rows 3-17 ch 1, sc 58, turn --- 58 sts.
Work left, middle, neck and right part separate.
For left part:
Rows 18-24 ch 1, 14 sc, turn --- 14 sts.
Row 25 ch 1, 4 sl st, 10 sc, turn

first 5 sc from the hood. Make 3 sc in every outside corner. When

and leave a long tail for closing the gap. Sew the gap closed and
weave in the remaining yarn.

Sleeves (make 2)
Round 1 Start at the bottom of the armhole and sc 24 by picking up the st
in the ends of the rows, using the stitch marker to mark the first
stitch of the next round --- 24 sts.
Rnds 2-4 Sc around --- 24 sts.
Fasten off as by color changing.
Weave in the remaining yarn.

Buttons (make 3)
Round 1 In red, make an adjustable ring and work 6 sc in the ring,
join with a sl sl.
Fasten off as by color changing.
Leave a long tail for sewing.
Sew them on the left part of the raincoat.

Buttons with straps (make 3)

Take a small ring that fits the small part (round 5). Cut 6 pieces of
10 cm wire and bend them into the small ring (see picture).

Cut the wire to the desired length and bend it to secure.

This is what your finished upper part will look like.

Handle (make 1)
Round 1 In black, ch 37, turn
Round 2 Sc in second ch from hook, 35 sc, turn --- 36 sts.
Rnds 3-4 Ch 1, 36 sc, turn
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Cut a piece of wire that is slightly bigger than your work. Bend the
ends back so it will fit your handle, this will prevent the sharp
endings from coming out of your work.
Fold your work in half, place the wire between the layers and sew
round 1 and 4 together. Bend the bottom up and sew the other end
on round 5 of the umbrella.
