Thank you for choosing my crochet pattern!!!

Dear friends!

● This crochet pattern contains the description of the ball.

● The skill level of this crochet pattern – intermediate (you should have the main
crocheting skills).
● The size of the ready toy depends on the chosen yarn, the size of the hook and
your gauge. The size of my ball is about 8cm (3 inch).

Thank you for your understanding and estimation of my work!

I wish you easy stitches! Happy crocheting!
Abbreviations:

ch – chain;
sl st – slip stitch;
sc – single crochet;
dec – decrease (crochet two stitches together);
inc – increase (crochet two stitches in one stitch);
So, let’s begin.

We will need the following:

1. Plush yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby (you can choose any

color).
2. Yarn «mercerized cotton» 50g/106m Vita cotton Charm
(color 4179) – for a loop
3. Stuffing (hollofayber).
Tools:
1. The hook 3,5-4mm (for a ball) and 1,5-2,5 mm (for a loop).
2. A needle with a blunt end to sew a loop and tighten the opening in a ball.
3. A marker for crocheting (it is not obligatory – I use a contrast thread)
4. Scissors.
Begin crocheting a toy.

Ball:

1. 2 ch, further in the second loop from the hook crochet

6 sc (6)
2. 6inc = (12) – here I mark the beginning of a row with a
contrast thread.
3. (1sc, inc)*6 =(18)
4. (2sc, inc)*6 =(24)
5. (3sc, inc)*6 =(30)
6. (4sc, inc)*6 =(36)
7-10. 36 sc
11. (4sc, dec)*6 =(30)
12. (3sc, dec)*6 =(24)
13. (2sc, dec)*6 =(18)-
begin stuffing a ball
14. (1sc, dec)*6 =(12)
15. (4sc, dec)*2 =(10)
- attach the other yarn (cotton)
16. (1sc, inc)*5 =(15)
17-19. 15 sc
- stuff the ball to the end
20. 7 dec for the back loops only
- draw out a thread, insert in a needle,
tighten the opening (grasping the front loop
of each stitch), hide a thread.
Loop:
40-50 ch (leave a thread enough for sewing at the both ends). Sew in the center for
the both ends (fix with the knots inside a ball, so as a loop will not stretch in the
process of using).
