ALTERATION TIP 2:
If your lace is too big:

you were crocheting, or if you used a thread that
contains acrylic fibers and your lace cover stretched
after blocking.

You can use a bigger umbrella to fix an issue, or

decrease rnds before edging.

Depending on how much you need to decr, you can

unravel last 2 rnds of edging, or unravel last 4-6 rnds
(or more) and then finish your lace cover with 1 rnd
of shell edging, working it in the same manner as
rnd 43 on page 9.
ALTERATION TIP 1:
Fasten off, weave in all the ends. Check your lace
