1. With hook G and black (or desired paw pad color) 10 hdc in a MC,
changing to C in last stitch. Do not join. Continue in the round.
2. With white, BLO, 2sc in each stitch around. Join with a slst,
changing to color B. (20)
3. With black, (slst in next stitch, 3hdc in next, slst in next) 4 times.
FO, leaving remaining 8 stitches of round 2 unworked.
4. 2 stitches before beginning of round 3 pull up loop of white. Ch1,
sc in same stitch. *Slst before shell 1 row below. Sc in 1st hdc of
shell, 2sc in 2nd hdc of shell, sc in last hdc of shell. Repeat from * 3
more times. Slst past last shell 1 row below. Sc in each stitch
around to beginning. Join with a slst to beginning sc. Turn.
5. (WS) Ch2 (counts as hdc). Hdc in next stitch. Sc in next 4 stitches.
Hdc in next 2 stitches. FO.
Note: The toes will pucker or curl a little and that’s okay. When we
stuff it later it will be just right.
Stuff just the base of the tail. Sew to the lower back of the blanket. Pattern Assistance available via Email only.

Chest Patch
With white and Ghook
1. 16dc in a MC. Join with a slst to beginning dc. (16)
2. Ch2. *(dc, tr, dc) in the same stitch. 2dc in the next stitch. Hdc in
the next. 2dc in the next stitch. Repeat from * 3 more times. Join with
slst to the beginning dc. Slst into the corner treble. (24stitches)
3. (Sk3, 9tr in the next, sk3, slst in the next corner) twice. FO.
4. With color B, join in the back loop of any stitch and slst BLO all
around the heart, leaving your stitches loose on the curves. FO a long
tail for sewing.
