A “Gift Overdue” a great concept given by Amal Academy. When I read about this activity to write a
letter of thanks to the persons who played a key role in making me “Who I am today”. I am Asad. I am
from Islamabad. I am currently doing BS in Mechanical Engineering from Institute Of Space Technology
Islamabad. I remained always successful in my Education Career. I have Goals to achieve, I have dreams
to fulfill and I am doing that.

Who I am today, is not actually only because of my hard work , efforts and patience. There are many
people around me who really helped me become who I am today. They are my parents, my teachers, my
siblings and of course my friends.

Today I am going to thank them who really helped me throughout my life. They always encouraged me
and always had belief in me. They supported me whenever I failed. They supported me, whenever I
thought I lost. They helped me grow up. They always made me believe that I can achieve anything in life.
They showed me the real meaning of sacrifice. I just can’t list their sacrifices they have given for me. Yes
sacrifices!

They are the persons who want me be more successful than themselves. They are like a ladder that
helps the climber to reach his destination. They are the most precious gift of my life. Yes! they are my
Parents. I want to thank them for all the sacrifices they have made for me, for all the troubles they faced
just to make me a better person of society. I really thank them for providing me all the luxuries of life. If I
am successful today, the reason is You Both.
