Scavenger Hunt: Virtual Bring Me and Trivia Day o STRATEGY, ATTENTIVENESS o MATERIALS: Objects as asked by facilitator o ACTIVITY: Facilitator prepares a list of items that can be found in the household; some can be easily found, others may be challenging. They will ask the students to search for these items at home and first to present it to the class gets a point. Following the scavenger hunt, bonus trivia questions will be asked tackling points shared during the General Orientation. Examples include: What is the name of our President? When was Voctech founded? What are the Learning Delivery Modalities Voctech will be implementing for this semester? Students to get highest points for the activities will be receiving load prizes. o PROCESSING: Challenges students’ strategies in searching for items being asked at the fastest time. Measures attentiveness of students during the General Orientation and retention of information. What was that activity like for you? How easy was it to find the items and recall the answers? Did you strategize in any way? Did you encounter obstacles? What were they? Did you come across any unexpected objects/factoids while you were searching?

Heart, Trophy, Graduation Cap o VISION, REASONING, CONSCIENCE AND CONSCIOUSNESS o ACTIVITY: Students will be presented with illustrations of a heart, a trophy, or a graduation cap. With these given, the students will be asked to choose between the three. In the discussion they will share their reason for choosing and their interpretation of the objects. o PROCESSING: How did you initially interpret each image? Given that both the graduation cap and trophy may mean success, which image interprets to success deeper to you? How do you think do they differ? If you could rank the three based on what is most important to you, how would you rank them? August 19, 2020 Round the Globe: Virtual World Tour o CURIOSITY, ATTENTION TO DETAIL, HISTORY ENLIGHTENMENT o MATERIALS: Google Earth / Google Map o ACTIVITY: The facilitator will share their screen with the class. Using Google Earth or Google Maps, the class will be navigating around the globe to wonderful and historical places not commonly known. The facilitator will be sharing facts about the place and students may impart whatever they know about a random place. o PROCESSING: Which of the places and its history sparked your interest the most? What place did you find the most beautiful? Which place would you like to visit the most? Whom would you like to visit that place with? What do you think would you need to do to be able to visit the place and when do you think can you do it?

My School is Cool: What I Want My Own School to Be o CREATIVITY, INNOVATION, VISION o ACTIVITY: Students will imagine they own a school. They will envision what they want their school to be: the name, their curriculum, what they want to focus on, whom their students will be, how large it will be, and the factors that will lead it to be a successful school. o PROCESSING: Why do you want to focus on the field you chose for the school? How do you think will your students contribute to the development of the country while in your school and after leaving it? What will you do as the school owner to help your students reach their maximum potential? What values would you like to be instilled in your students as students and citizens?
