KALI RAM HASHPLANT,
NIRANG, MALANA
HIMALAYAN HIGHLAND SATIVA

Nirang is situated right opposite Malana village


on the mountain top. This place is completely cutoff from
Malana village, nobody reaches here but the farmers.
The owner of the most inviting and colourful field, Kali Ram has al-
ways been fascinated by extraordinarily faded plants. His first name
“Kali” literally translates to the “colour” black in Hindi and this has
inspired him since a long time now to pursue plants that express
dark colours.
Native temperature 8°c to 24°c (summer) -19°c to 8°c (winters)

Flowering Time 12 to 14 weeks.


Yield Medium – High.

Final product by Handrubbed sour grapey hashish with a loud over-


local farmer tones of tamarind, diesel and menthol.
Some mouth watering bubble hash is also produced.
Plant Tall beautiful plants with dark purple/black
colour phenotypes. Full of trichomes these plants
smell of rotten grapes, tamarind, rose, diesel, skunk
and earthy menthol. This strain can be used to
produce buds if not pollinated.
WAILING VALLEY,
MALANA
HIMALAYAN HIGHLAND SATIVA

Wailing valley is situated at 3200 meters from the sea level. One has to
walk 7 kms from
Malana village in order to reach the valley. Wailing valley is covered in snow
for 5 months, from mid-November till mid-march.
Surrounded by lush green pine
forests, this valley experiences average to extensive rainfall rest of the year.
Only goat or cow dung is used as manure here as the soil is already
Intensely conditioned.

Flowering Time 12 to 14 weeks.


Yield Medium – High.

Final product by Handrubbed hashish with a piney, naphthalene (moth


local farmer balls) and fruity flavor. Super creamy texture and a eu-
phoric heady effect.
Plant Exotic flavor of naphthalene (moth balls), pine and
phalsa fruit can be found from this landrace variety.
These plants generally have a hollow stem and show
nice purple/blue fade when the cycle ends.
With enormous trichomes these plants are ideal to
make hashish.
MAGIK VALLEY
MALANA
HIMALAYAN HIGHLAND SATIVA

Magik valley is situated deep inside the enormous mountains of


Parvati valley. The long walk to Magik valley was shortened by the newly
constructed road. It now takes approximately 2.5 hours to trek to the top.
The villagers say that Magik valley has always been famous among them for
medicinal herbs, morel mushrooms and cordyceps (KEEDA JADI).

Final product by Handrubbed hashish with cherry blossom incense like
local farmer flavour and a sativa red eye high that gives you a
headrush.
Plant The terpenes observed commonly here are cherry
blossom incense, floral, peppermint and raw mango.
These plants show nice purple/pink colours. Some
really amazing genetics have been found here,
somewhat similar to the Waichin Valley.
TOSH VILLAGE,
BARSAINI
HIMALAYAN HIGHLAND SATIVA

Tosh is situated at 2500 meters from sea level. The fields are even higher
where no one can reach at approximately 2700 meters. Easily accessible
through road, Tosh village has now become a hub for tourists.
Due to this intervention by tourism, the cannabis plantation has now been
shifted deeper and higher in the mountains. The seeds found here are
smaller than any other Himalayan sativa, like the seeds you get from north-
east Indian states.

local farmer flavour with gas in the background. Generally the
hashish rubbed here is not cream. Known as Tosh balls
Plant The plants found here are show a variety of features.
From small structured hashplants to huge big yielding
sativas. Plants from here smell of caramelized lemon,
gas and perfume. The trichome coverage on plants
here is comparatively more than the other Himalayan
landrace heirlooms.
KAALA PATHARI
PADERU, ANDHRA PRADESH
SOUTH INDIAN EQUATORIAL SATIVA

Paderu, Andhra Pradesh


is a cannabis hub. Roughly 1000 villages grow
cannabis in a 10-thousand-acre area.
Paderu is at the center of 8 Sub-Districts that cultivate cannabis.
Approximately 400,000 kilograms of cannabis is seized every year by the
government and over 17 million cannabis plants are destroyed.
This violation has made us concentrate more on the preservation of this
sacred plant. Andhra Pradesh receives heavy tropical rainfall in the months
of July to September. The cannabis growing season starts from
July to January.

Final product by Solid, rock like buds. Potent sativa strain that
local farmer knocks you out for a while.
Plant Generally tall like other sativa strains, this land-
race has an earthy, wooden flavour with some
musky and hay in the blend. This strain is great
for mind relaxation and works great as an antide-
pressant.
ORISSA,
MALKANGIRI DISTRICT
SOUTH-EAST INDIAN EQUATORIAL SATIVA

Formerly known as Orissa, Odisha lies on the eastern coast of India and is
filled with tribal areas. Tribesmen have continued to grow and preserve the
sativa landrace for centuries. The weather is generally pleasant throughout
the year, being next to the sea this area has a high humidity level, which
makes these genetics hardy and healthy in costal regions. Recently, some
local people from Nayagarh were found worshipping the sativa cannabis
plant. The villagers offer a variety of colourful flowers to the plant produc-
ing ganja that is classified as a banned substance by the government.

Flowering Time 16 to 18 weeks.

It has a strong uplifting high that concentrates on your
forehead and makes you even more creative.
Plant The plant grows approximately 8-12 feet tall(outdoors)
This strain offers a some unique flavours of cardamom,
fennel, cumin, gooseberry with woody overtones.
Stem rubs are generally sweet and earthy.
SHEELAVATHI
ANDHRA PRADESH
SOUTH INDIAN EQUATORIAL SATIVA

Sheelavthi has been an all time favourite and is still


preferred by most landrace enthusiasts. Growers around the world have
been growing this South Indian landrace for its psychedelic and potent
high, since years.
Sheelavthi is the most common and sought after strain
available in India.

Flowering Time 16 to 18 weeks.

Final product by Big heavy, terpy buds with a concentrated high that
local farmer keeps you locked on the couch.

Plant Tall and bulky, this landrace has a traditional Indian


curry flavour, a blend of turmeric, ginger, cumin and
garlic accompanied with minty hints in the background.
This is really potent compared to the other South Indi-
an landrace heirlooms and is the parent to many
modern day hybrids.
SHILLONG,
MAWPHLANG VILLAGE, MEGHALAYA
NORTH-EAST INDIAN SATIVA

Shillong is approximately 65 kms away from “Mawsynram”.


This 65 kms has upto hundreds of cannabis fields. Mawsynram receives the
highest amount of rainfall in the whole world. The Shillong landrace has
been growing in one of the most humid places on earth.
Over 70% of Meghalaya is covered in dense subtropical forests where can-
nabis thrives. Cannabis in Meghalaya has been a support for many poor
village families which have been growing this plant since before it was
banned by the government.

Flowering Time 14 to 16 weeks.

Final product by Diamond like sparkling buds which can also be used to
local farmer make hashish. Energetic sativa with psychedelic
effects.

Plant Full of terpenes this plant generally gives out a


bitter minty floral essence with a overtones of charred
wood. Abundant trichome production and huge yields
makes this heirloom even more desirable. Seeds of
this plant are much smaller than other landrace varie-
ties, much like the Tosh village landrace.
