28 Killed In Clash Of Moslem Bands
RANGOON, Burma (AP)—Twenty-eight men died in a clash between two rival Moslem rebel groups in the Arakan area of Northwestern Burma. Reports received here tonight said all but three of the victims were in one gang, the reports added. The Burmese army has been waging a campaign against Moslem rebels in the Arakan area for five years. [Among insurgent groups, terrorist groups, revolutionary groups, etc. there are often severe rivalries, and they various groups may easily fight, ambush, and deceive each other over power, ideology, weapons, tactics, and other issues. Also, no use of the term ‘Rohingya’ yet.]
