PDM360 NG – repacking v04

Reason and versions

Due to changes in the behaviour of the Flash memory it was necessary to modify the operating systems for the PDM360 NG series.
This hardware modification is done for the following device statuses:

• CR1080 AI • CR1085 AG • CR9223 AC

• CR1081 AH • CR1087 AF • CR9224 AC
• CR1082 AG • CR1200 AC • CR9225 AC
• CR1083 AK • CR1201 AC • CR9226 AC
• CR1084 AG • CR9042 AI • CR9227 AC

To continue use of projects based on older operating systems the old operating systems were adapted to the new hardware.
This allows to use a new hardware without changing older CODESYS projects.
This resulted in a so-called repacking version 04 identified by a fourth position in the version number.
The following operating systems were changed and can be downloaded from our web site:

• v01.05.01.03 included in file V01.05.01.04_NoWD_PDM360NG.ifm

• v02.00.01.03 included in file V02.00.01.04_NoWD_PDM360NG.ifm
• v02.01.00.03 included in file V02.01.00.04_NoWD_PDM360NG.ifm
• v02.02.00.03 included in file V02.02.00.04_NoWD_PDM360NG.ifm
• v02.03.01.03 included in file V02.03.01.04_NoWD_PDM360NG.ifm
• v3.3.0.0 included in file V3.3.0.4_PDM360NG.ifm

Package content

The repacking v03 file (e.g.
V02.02.00.03_NoWD_PDM360NG.ifm) contains two
operating systems. One for the hardware before Repacking
03 (e.g. v02.02.00) and another one for the hardware with
Repacking 03 (e.g. v02.02.00.03).
The repacking v04 file (e.g. V02.02.00.04_NoWD_PDM360NG.ifm) contains three
operating systems. Two for the old hardware from repacking v03 file (e.g.
V02.02.00 und V02.02.00.03) and another one for the new hardware (e.g.
V02.02.00.04).

Before restore the device compares the versions of firmware from the backup file and on the device.
