PASSIVE VOICE: CÂU BỊ ĐỘNG VỚI ĐỘNG TỪ TƯỜNG THUẬT.

* Một số động từ tường thuật thường gặp:

Say, expect ( mong đợi, mong muốn) , belive , think , report , suppose ( cho rằng), know
( biết).

CÁCH 1: Dùng chủ ngữ giả IT – chuyển vế thứ nhất.

CÁCH 2: Dùng chủ ngữ của vế 2.

TO:

- do: HTĐ, TLĐ, 2 vế đều ở quá khứ đơn.

- have done: QKĐ, QKHT, HTHT.

- be doing : HTTD, TLTD

- have been doing: QKTD, HTHTTD, QKHTTD.

1. People say that/ he is rich ( HTĐ)

=> It is said that he is rich.

=> He is said to be rich.

2. They believed that/ he got away in a stolen car. ( QKĐ – QKĐ)

=> It was believed that he got away in a stolen car.

=> He was believed to get away in a stolen car.

3. They belive that/ he got away in a stolen car. ( QKĐ)

=> It is belived that he got away in a stolen car.

=> He is believed to have got away in a stolen car.

4. I think/ Mr John is living in London. ( HTTD)

=> It is thought that Mr John is living in London.

=> Mr John is thought to be living in London.

5. Everybody knows that/ they were sleeping at that moment. ( QKTD)

=> It is known that they were sleeping at that moment.

=> They are known to have been sleeping at that moment.

6. I suppose that/ he will go abroad next year. ( TLĐ)

=> It is supposed that he will go abroad next year.

=> He is supposed to go abroad next year.

TO:

- do: HTĐ, TLĐ, 2 vế đều ở quá khứ đơn.

- have done: QKĐ, QKHT, HTHT.

- be doing : HTTD, TLTD

- have been doing: QKTD, HTHTTD, QKHTTD.
