Kota Factory

‘Apni problems ko dare bana diya aur dare seedha ego se connected hai aur ego ke nuksaan bohat
hai, par ek fayda hai cheezein doable lagne lagti hai’. These were the wise words by the man, who
himself has cleared the IIT in real life. He is non other than Mr.Jeetendra Kumar, aka our own Jeetu
Bhaiya. This was not just a web series, it was an emotional roller coaster ride filled with interesting
and relatable characters, quirky moments, a monologue straight from someone’s heart, motivational
dialogues and the best part, some budding romances in the heartland of a city ‘Kota’ that has
become an educational factory. Truly a spectacular and rhythmic screenplay in all of it’s episodes. It
has lot more depth than just showing the reality of a city like Kota.

This web series showed the harsh reality of the current education system through the mushrooming
of a number of coaching institutions that exist only to make money and promote the students as
their products. You can either call it a satire or a ground breaking reality made with utmost love and
with proper cinematic technicalities. It showed how students are considering some goals as the
ultimate ones in their life and welcoming unnecessary stress towards them. Also the series focused
on various minute aspects in an aspirant’s life. It showed the disparity in class among your friends
residing in the same block, the daily problems-like food, health, getting surprises at any time and
frustrations. Many of us have wondered why it was made like India’s first black and white web
series? Well the answer lies itself in the first glance made by the leading protagonist, Vaibhav. He
was doubtful, questionable, naive and was just like any average student having high hopes. Initially
frustrated and was complaining about his externalities, but slowly engrossed himself in his studies
and with his study partner, he started enjoying Kota. It was just 21 days of repeating a habit, that
changed his perspective or you can say ‘the colour’.

Tag your friends, whom do you think can change or adopt a habit after 21 days.
