HOW DID I SPEND MY EID VACATION

It was 30th June 2016 and 24 th Ramadan. My exam was ended. We finished our shopping at 1 st
July. We started our journey to home next day at 5.00 a.m. We reached our home at 8.30
a.m. The next day we arranged a small Iftar party in our house to pray for our relatives and
family members. Like every year the 29th ‘Ramadan’ is for a big iftar party for whole village in
the Mosque of our home (We arranged it with our cousins). We illuminated our small bridge
In front of our home with lots of candles and splitted firecrackers at 30 th night of Ramadan.
We pray our Prayer at 7.30a.m in the Eidgah of our village. But this year due to rain we
prayed our Prayer in our Village Central Mosque. After prayer we embrace with each other. It
is the moment when we meet with our school friends and many others we know. Then we
(our cousins and our elders) go to our Family cemetery and pray for our forefathers and
relatives. After that we embrace with each other again in the field of our family mosque.
Then we and our Youngers collects Salami (money) from our elders. After lunch at after noon
we gather and performed a family cultural program and prize giving ceremony. We returned
to Dhaka at 9th July.
