● copy paper or drawing paper


● multicolored construction paper or other colored paper
● crayons, colored pencils, and/or markers
● a small assortment of patterned paper scraps, small bits of aluminum foil, wrapping
—paper, discarded magazine pages, yarn, cardboard, or fabric scraps

● Scrap Papers (gift wrap, paper bags, scrapbooking paper, paper with prints on them old greeting
cards and envelopes insides, old pages from worn books)

 Advanced: Watercolors with Jessixa Bagley for Grades 3-7


● Watercolor paper (140lb is a good standard weight, smooth or textured is fine)- at least 15 pieces,
size should be at least 8.5”x 11”
● Set of basic watercolors
● Watercolor palette- You can use a few small plates or dishes also (ceramic or plastic)
● Brushes- at least three different sizes (large, medium, small) Round brushes preferred
● Pencil and eraser
● Paper towel or paper napkins
● Small jars or cups for water to clean your brushes during the session (at least one jar, but two or
three is good- water gets muddy fast)
● Water resistant pen to draw with
● Tape or stickers (any kind of stickers)
● Additional materials- salt, q-tips, non-permanent markers or non-permanent pens, plastic wrap,
chalk, crayons
● *Optional: Compass or bowl to draw/trace a circle
● *Optional: Piece of cardboard or heavy board that is bigger than your watercolor paper
