order to maintain his good health.
Expectancy: He would be more likely to join the gym to maintain his
good health. So if he pays for the gym membership it would help him
to join the gym.
Instrumentality: If he joins the gym, it would help him to stay fit and
healthy and maintain a good and healthy lifestyle.
Valence: Since he is already in a very good health so he would be
more motivated to maintain his good health. By joining the gym he
can stay fit and be able to achieve this goal of his which is quite
