Apex Tannery’s main mission is to understand and satisfy customer’s wants

reduce costs and provide innovative thinking for improvement of our product
quality, with world class compliance and working standards. Our vision is to
attain 100% customer satisfaction worldwide through continual quality
improvement of our products.

The Company and Management

Apex Tannery Limited was established by Mr. A. K. M Rahmatullah on July
26, 1976 as a private limited company. Syed Manzur Elahi the chairman of
Apex group is also the chairman of Apex Tannery Limited. Subsequently, the
company was converted to a public limited company in 1986. The company's
shares are listed with DSE and CSE. It is a 100% export-oriented company. Its
factories are located at Hazaribagh and Shafipur. Annual production of Apex
Tannery Ltd. exceeds 23 million square meters and sales turnover amounts to
over US$ 30 million.

Our Product
Apex Tannery's main activity is to produce and export leather by using Italian
chemicals, technology and various types of finished leather for shoes and
leather goods.

Our Competitive Advantage

Being the first ISO9001:2008 certified tannery of Bangladesh Apex Tannery is
exporting in more than 30 countries including Italy, Hong Kong, China, Japan,
India, Vietnam, Korea, United States etc. With the shifting of its facilities to
the newly built Government "Leather Economic Zone" with Common effluent
treatment plant (CETP), Apex Tannery Limited has created another
benchmark in the tannery sector. The new production unit has been built
with the most modern and compliant factors in consideration. The new unit
will not only improve efficiency in production but also increase inhouse
production capacity by at least 20%.

Financial Consideration
Apex Tannery Limited has an annual production capacity of 32 million square
feet and company sales turnover amounts around US$30 million, thus
creating an exemplary model for corporate development in the tannery
sector.
