Health Care Technologies

Health Care Technologies identified the need by governments and health personnel to

have ready access to healthcare information. The project aims at providing the necessary

technologically advanced infrastructure that would enable for easy collection and analysis of

patient’s health care information. By providing accurate information to the health care

professionals hence enabling them to provide the best care possible to the patients (Auvinen,

2017). The project, therefore, aims to benefit the patient by improving their wellbeing.

The major responsibilities of the project manager will be the assignment of relevant

resources and including the shareholders and other end-users of the system in the project

management decision-making discussions. These include the stakeholders, patients, vendors, and

nurses and clinicians. Each of the project participants is required to express the highest level of

professionalism and apart from that, they should all work towards the achievement of the project

objectives. The goals and objectives strive towards the achievement of a successful upgrade of

the current Health Care Technologies systems to more advanced and modern software. The

project manager works to define the roles of all members of the project team. The required

restructures and reassignments of roles are done at the project manager’s discretion as long as

they are deemed necessary for the achievement of the set objectives, which also support the

organization’s business goals and strategies ("Write project charter," 2009). The communication

channels established allow for information regarding the changes taking place to be relayed to

both the stakeholders and shareholders. The project budget will be estimated and the project

sponsor identified. Other sources of funding including government grants and other independent

donors would be sought to supplement the sponsors’ contribution to the financial needs and

success of the project.
