Coated Pipe Protection & Loading Container

1.1 Coated Pipe Ends:

Both ends of coated pipe shall be protected, plastic caps and steel end protectors are recommended to protect
both bevel ends. If steel end protectors are used, corresponding waterproof cloth shall be used to close both pipe
ends to keep contamination away from inside of coated pipe.

1.2 Coated pipe Body

Three ring cloth shielded ropes with diameter 20mm shall be used to separate each pipe. And three round ropes
are evenly distributed on length of coated pipe. Cloth shielded ropes shall avoid the damage from pipe friction
with each other.

1.3 Coated Pipe bundling

For pipe of OD ≤114.3mm, coated pipe shall be in bundle, and steel belt will be forbidden which shall cause
coating damage. Non-metal packing belt shall be used for bundling and waterproof cloth shall be used for
supporting base.

II. Container Protection Scheme

2.1 Container Bottom Plate

Although each coated pipe has isolation rope protection, it is necessary to protect the container's bottom plate.
Each container shall be protected by three cloth shielded ropes with a diameter of no less than 50mm, and avoid
direct contact between coated pipe and container bottom plate.

2.2 Container Side Plate

The side plates of the container are corrugated, and side plates need to be protected for loading coated pipe.
Each container side plate shall use three cloth shielded ropes with a diameter of no less than 50mm in isolation to
protect, and cloth ropes shall be fixed on the corrugated prominent surface with transparent tape to avoid coated
pipe direct contact with the container side panel.

Coated pipe Hoisting Protection Scheme

3.1 Hooks Hoisting

If hooks will be used to hoisting coated pipe, the point of hooks which directly contact with steel pipe ends shall be
lined with flexible material protection. Hooks can be lined with rubber or plastic materials to avoid damage of
bevel ends during hoisting.

3.2 Nylon Slings Hoisting

The hoisting of coated pipe is recommended to use nylon slings, each bundle with two nylon slings. The nylon
slings bearing weight shall be greater than the actual coated pipe weight of each bundle, and each nylon sling
shall be with the specific label.

3.3 Hoisting Regulation
The lifting and lowering of the hoisting process shall be vertically and smoothly, and the coated pipe should not be
pulled in a slant to avoid the pipe shaking and bumping onto the container and cause damage to coating.

Coated pipe Loading Container Scheme

4.1 Position of Coated Pipe in Container

Coated pipe shall be suitable placed in the container, and the distance shall be reserved for opening and closing
container door. The weight of the goods in the container should be relatively uniform. In container, front and back,
right and left, the obvious weight bias shall not be appeared.

4.2 Loading Height and Weight

The loading height of the container is generally not more than 75% of the height of the container, and the loading
weight shall be not exceeding the load weight limit of the container.
