All our courses fulfill all requirements of the most used qualification standards as ASNT SNT-TC-1A,
ISO 9712, EN 473 etc.). Our courses are designed to hand on the maximum of our professional
experience. You will get practical skills in our testing rooms and required theory understanding in our
lecture rooms as well. Our lecturers are highly educated experts, with long-time experience on sites,
prepared for practical discussions and your support during the training. All courses fulfill requirements
of ISO TR 25107 (NDT Guidelines for NDT training syllabuses).
We can provide various courses for every standard NDT method, each suited to your particular
requirements. The type of course you choose depends on how much experience you have, whether you
have received training previously or currently hold a certificate, and also what type of certification you

CERTIFICATION SERVICES
We provide the final certification process to all our training courses. The certificate can be issued according
to required qualification system in the specified method, level and scope. You can choose usually the
accredited, non-accredited or employer based certificate. Most of all certificates are valid for 5 years, the
renewing is possible for next 5 years after the applying. After this period follows the recertification exam.

API 510 GENERAL COURSE
Aimed at: Pressure Vessel Inspection Code: Maintenance Inspection, Rating, Repair and Alteration
The inspection code API 510 covers the maintenance inspection, repair, alteration, and rerating
procedures for pressure vessels in petroleum or chemical process industries. This course should be
attended by individuals working in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry, and involved in design,
procurement, engineering construction, operation, maintenance and inspection of pressure vessels.
Upon completion of this course, you will have an overview of: pressure vessel maintenance, including
inspection, evaluation of various defects, and repair/alteration rules of various Codes and Standards. You
will be able to extend the expertise in defect assessment, and equipment integrity analysis.

CORROSION AND PLANT INSPECTION
Aimed at: Piping Inspection Code: Inspection, Repair, Alteration, and Rating of In-service Piping
Systems
The inspection code API 570 covers the maintenance inspection, repair, alteration, and rerating
procedures for piping systems that have been in-service in petroleum or chemical process industries. But
it may be extended for any piping systems. This course should be attended by individuals working in the oil,
gas and petrochemical industry, and involved in design, procurement, engineering construction,
operation, maintenance and inspection of piping systems.
Upon completion of this course, you will have an overview of: piping system maintenance, including

API 650 & 653 GENERAL COURSE
Aimed at: Tank Design and Inspection Code: Design, Inspection, Repair, Alteration, and
Reconstruction of Storage Tanks
The inspection code API 653 covers the maintenance inspection, repair, alteration, relocation, and
reconstruction for steel storage tanks that have been in-service in petroleum or chemical process
industries. API 653 employs the principles of construction code API Standard 650, specifically many of
design, welding, examination, and material requirements. This course should be attended by individuals
who have engineering, inspection, maintenance, and/or management responsibility related to
aboveground atmospheric storage tanks that store hydrocarbon or chemical liquids

ASME SECTION VIII COURSE / REFRESH
This course will introduce participants to the ASME Section VIII, Division 1 code for Unfired Pressure
Vessels. It will provide an understanding of the background of the overall ASME Boiler and Pressure
Vessel Code, its organization, and applicability. This course should be attended by engineers, designers,
fabrication personnel, QA supervisors, and inspectors who work for pressure vessel owners, fabricators,
inspection companies, and government agencies. As well individuals involved in the purchase, design,
fabrication or inspection of pressure vessels, or professionals who estimate jobs which impose the
requirements of Section VIII, Division 1 are welcome.
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to understand the background of the Code, apply the
Code rules to more common design and fabrication situations.

It is suggested (but not required) that you bring the latest edition of the ASME Code Section VIII,
Division 1, Pressure Vessels. A complete set of study materials will be provided.

PLANT INSPECTOR

This course covers the requirements of ASME Section IX related to the qualification of the welders,
welding operators, brazers, and brazing operators, and the procedures employed in welding or brazing.
This course should be attended by welding engineers, quality assurance personnel, auditors, testing
laboratory personnel, maintenance personnel and jurisdictional inspection personnel. Anyone involved in
qualifying welders, brazers and operators or others involved in writing and qualifying welding and brazing
procedure specifications are welcome.

It is suggested (but not required) that you bring the

ASME B31.3 - PROCESS PIPING
Aimed at: Process Piping: piping typically found in petroleum refineries, chemical, pharmaceutical,
textile, paper, semiconductor, and cryogenic plants, and related processing plants and
terminals;
This is a three-days course which covers the requirements of ASME B 31.3. The participants will become
familiar with the background and requirements of ASME B 31.3. You will be able to interpret and distinguish
requirements for metallic, nonmetallic piping system, piping in Category M fluid service and high pressure
piping and you will get knowledge about the design rules and formulas, materials, fabrication,
examination, inspection, testing.

IWI - INTERNATIONAL WELDING INSPECTOR
The “IWIP” qualification is managed by IIW IAB (International Authorization Board). Training and
examinations are provided in approved places, all services correspond to the requirements of managing
directive for welding inspectors.
The qualification IWIP has these 3 levels: Every level has different requirements on course
IWI – B Basic duration and inspector responsibility, B – is the
IWI – S Standard level with the lowest difficulty, C with the highest
IWI – C Comprehensive qualification.
The directive IAB-041-2001/EWF-450-02 accepts the direct access too without the WT part attendance.
The participant must be certified by comparable or higher qualification in personnel supervising (having a
diploma like IWP, IWS, IWT, IWE) or have to pass the intermediate exam from the WT part. In case that this
differential exam hasn't been passed, completing the WT part is a must.

Based on: ASM Handbook Vol. 13, ASNT Level III Study Guides, ASME Code, API Codes, AWS Codes
The course is designed for individuals who want to get basic knowledge about NDT. Our trainings cover
personnel qualification and certification programs, general applications of various NDT methods (RT, UT,
MT, VT, ET, LT, PT), materials and processes for NDT.
Other information
To obtain the Level 3 certification all applicants must declare former training and practice experience,
according to the ASNT SNT-TC-1A code. Level III qualification is composed of BASIC qualification and
method qualification. It means before qualification in special method the trainee shall be qualified in
BASIC.
The course is based on: SNT-TC-1A. Alternatively we can provide this training course based on
EN 473/ISO 9712 or on EN 4179/NAS 410 as well. The requested number of hours for EN/ISO
certification is higher and therefore the duration shall be increased according to the request of the specific
standard.

MT MAGNETIC PARTICLE TESTING

Our MT courses prepare NDT workers for the goods and material testing according to ASNT SNT-TC-1A
and EN 473 standard too. This method is used for detection of surface or subsurface defects. It is a quick
and reliable technique for detection and location of surface cracks. This method is used to test welds,
castings, and forgings, however it can only be used on ferromagnetic materials.
Other information
MT2 courses are prepared for specialists responsible to test
and assess all findings using magnetic particle testing. Part
“General course” is required for all participants without former
completed knowledge of MT and in case of direct approach it
is a must.

This method involves applying a visible or fluorescent liquid to the surface. The penetrant testing can be
applied to any non-absorbent material with uncoated surfaces. The practice part of the training are carried
out at our PT lines where colored and fluorescent penetrants, different kinds of developers and facilities
are demonstrated.

Most materials can be tested by radiographic inspection, e.g. welds, castings, composites etc. Radiographic
testing provides a permanent record and a high sensitivity of testing. RT L1 courses prepare applicants for
NDT (non-destructive testing) according to ASNT SNT-TC-1A or EN 473 code, for product testing using
radiographic testing method. Departmental courses are supplemented with optional practice testing where
you can learn how to create X-ray pictures of approved samples, which are required at the qualification
exams later.
Other information
Every trainee will obtain a set of educational materials, courses contain many specific training and tests (with
evaluation) and practical evaluations on material samples. The course is based on: SNT-TC-1A.

The current RT2 radioscopy or radiography qualification may not be suitable for some new techniques,
(according to EN 473). This DR2 course extends the RT Level 2 qualification for digital radiography which
includes:
Computed Radiography (CR) - radiography with memory photoluminescence film
Digital Detector Array (DDA) - radiography with semiconducting matrix detector
This qualification is implemented in the ATG employer based qualification system with the final exam.
DR2 course includes practical tests, using PC and software for digital radiography with detector of imaging
plates. The terms for this DR2 course are arranged individually. Please contact our training center for more

RT RADIOGRAPHIC INTERPRETER

This is the preparation training for the RI - Radiographic Interpreter qualification. This training course is
oriented in evaluation of welded joints. The qualification of radiographic interpreters requires
experience, knowledge, and skills unique to the interpretation of radiographic media and the
determination of acceptance criteria for weldments and adjacent base metal.
Notice
Each candidate for the final qualification as a RI shall meet the minimum requirements for:
- Education Requirements (to be qualified as a Radiographic Interpreter, each individual shall hold
a valid high school diploma, or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Training Requirements (shall have a minimum of 40 hours of organized training in radiographic
interpretation/examination. The training should include the topics contained in Section 9, Body
of Knowledge)
- Experience Requirements - shall have
a minimum of one-year experience as a company
or nationally certified individual in radiographic
interpretation of media or under the direct
supervision of such an individual. A maximum of
six months experience may be substituted by one

Ultrasonic testing is very often used for pipelines testing. Using this NDT method you can identify location
and orientation of imperfection or the material wall thickness. This is a comprehensive course for
individuals with little or no experience in ultrasonic testing; as well as a refresher course for individuals who
need to brush up on ultrasonic. Through lecture and laboratory exercises; students gain understanding of
technical principles and test procedures.
Our courses will prepare you to pass the final exam according to SNT-TC-1A or EN 473 code for Level 1, 2
or 3, to be able to operate manually or on automatic lines typical radiographic testing.

having the UT1 L1 course is the general qualification course (1 week) optional.

(with evaluation) and practical knowledge. Alternatively we can provide training suitable for candidates
working to a written practice based on EN 473 code.
UT courses are supplemented by optional practice training where you can test UT method on
semiproducts (welds, forgings, pipes, ..) and are really useful for passing the final exam.

Manual Ultrasonic Phased Array Testing is a new specific technique of ultrasonic testing making use of
special instruments, probes and scan types. This technique is very often used for pipelines testing, weld
testing and pressure vessels testing. This is additional course for personnel with experience in
conventional ultrasonic testing. Personnel must be previous qualified in UTL2 !

UT TOFD UT TIME OF FLIGHT DIFFRACTION TECHNIQUE
Ultrasonic testing with Time Of Flight Diffraction is a new specific technique of ultrasonic testing making
use of special instruments, probes, scanners and scan types. This technique is very often used for
pipelines testing, weld testing and pressure vessels testing for detection of imperfections with improper
orientation for conventional UT. This is additional course for personnel with experience in conventional
ultrasonic testing. Personnel must be previous qualified in UTL2 !

VT method is focused on detection and evaluation of the part surface condition (or properties) directly by
eyes or by means of the special equipment or aids. Visual testing represents one of the NDT methods that
shall be performed before another NDT method is applied. VT is focused on the detection of cracks,
undercuts, and surface porosity, shape irregularities, etc.
This course contains education for all industrial sectors “multi-sector oriented”, aimed at the pre and in-
service testing of equipment, plant and structure, combining:

Eddy current testing method is used for testing of the electrically conductive materials. This method is
applicable in wide scale of branches, very often used for inspections of metallurgic semiproducts during the
in-service inspections of pipe type heat exchangers and in the aerospace and automotive industry. This
method is widely used for surface discontinuities detection. The discontinuities can be detected to specific
depth under surface. This method allows measuring thickness of nonconductive coating or selecting the
different materials on the base of the difference in the chemical composition or heat treatment.

Leakage testing is focused on the detection of the imperfections in the solid boundary-line; which allow
escaping of liquids (in presence of the pressure gradient). This method is able to detect imperfections of
the material failure of metallurgical or technological process or in-service induced imperfections;
mechanical joints (welds; solved; cemented and soldered joints).

Participants of LT courses have two basic options how to get the qualification: Part A is a must and every
student must be trained for basic knowledge. Part B or/and C is optional according to your needs. We
prefer longer duration of the part A (32 hours) because it contains also other important information for Part
B and C. Participants for both Levels (1 and 2) are trained together in one course.
Our courses will prepare you to pass the final exam according to ASNT SNT-TC-1A or EN 473 code for
Level 1; 2 or 3.
The course is based on: ASNT SNT-TC-1A. Alternatively we can provide this training course based on
EN 473/ISO 9712 or on EN 4179/NAS 410 as well.

INFRARED AND THERMAL TESTING
Our trainings prepare NDT workers for inspection and allocation of thermal leakage, excessive friction, but
also corrosion, defective electrical components, and other potentially hazardous elements in industrial
assemblies by active as well as passive technique.
Specific and practical part of the training is focused on customers’ (electrical components, energetics,
manufacturing systems, rotocures, civil engineering, …)
The training is accomplished by examination, after graduation the personnel will be certified in usual
levels.
Other information
The courses will be realized up to customers' requirements. The final certification is according to the
SNT-TC-1A, ISO 18436 - 7, EN 4179/NAS 410.

PLANT INSPECTOR
Aimed at
Inspection, monitoring, repair, alteration, reconstruction of plants that have been in-service in:
power energy industry and pressure pipelines, oil/gas transport
equipment machinery
oil industry and refineries or more specified see below
This course should attend individuals who have engineering, inspection, maintenance, and/or
management responsibility related to standard plants.
The participants will be familiar with the material, design, fabrication, erection, and testing requirements;
learn the requirements for inspection, repair, alteration, evaluation and reconstruction of plant
parts/equipment.
Emphasis will be placed on safety requirements, suitability for service, and plant parts/elements repair and
alteration. Requirements for inspection, NDE examination, inspection planning, RBI will be provided.
Other information
You will be able to extend the expertise in defect assessment, and plant/equipment integrity analysis
and evaluation of following life of the plant elements.
To gain maximum value for the course, participants should bring the ASME Code, API 510, 570, 580 and
653 Codes to the course for use during the session. A complete set of study materials will be provided.

Shop and site inspection for customer or independent or own requests according to given release
documents for following industrial sectors:

This course should attend individuals who have inspection and/or management responsibility related to
the deliveries of technical matter.
The participants will be familiar with the material, design, fabrication, erection, and testing requirements;
learn the requirements for inspection, release, evaluation of technical deliveries. Emphasis will be placed
on inspection methodology, evaluation of release conditions, the use of contract conditions. Requirements
for inspection, NDE examination, inspection planning will be provided.
Other information
To gain maximum value for the course, participants should bring the ASME Code, API production codes,
AWS D.1.1 to the course for use during the session. A complete set of study materials will be provided.
This training fulfils requests body of knowledge of ASQ certification for Certified Mechanical Inspector and
complete knowledge by specific part requested by the customer.
