INTRODUCTION

Computer usage or Technology is very significant in each part of our life its like a basic
necessity for us in now a days[ CITATION Ala06 \l 1033 ]1.

Computer ethics are set of rules for the usage of Information systems. Ethics are the
education about which things are honestly right and which one is wrong or art of perfect
human character or art of honorable duty[ CITATION Rus97 \l 1033 ]2 . Previously Computer
usage ethics are enlightened by the many theorists but our subject is not about what we do
affect the others but also discuss about what goes wrong when one use the information
system or computer technology without the ethical boundary.

HISTORY
Ethics of computer usage has a foundation in the MIS ( Management Information System)
first person who introduce the concept of Computer usage ethics is Norbert wiener , he lay
down the concept of computer ethics which remain powerful basis for ethical research and
analysis[CITATION Byn01 \l 1033 ]3.

As during the 1970s the first case of computer crime was discovered and computer usage
become public worry .After such things Donn parker work on specific ethics for computer
usage which was adopted in 1973. During 1996 they also introduce thee ethics to
development of information systems and project management as they say the normal ethics
cannot be used to deal with computer ethics because computer ethics needs theoretical
basis as principled concept[ CITATION Flo99 \l 1033 ]4

DEFINATIONS
Computer usage ethics can be defined as:

Common influence and investigation of Computer technology for preparation of regulations

for ethical usage of such technology.5

As the term computer technology is used means there he covers all aspects of computing
like software, hardware and even the internet which connects the computers as well as
computer themselves

The computer usage ethics has two activities:

One that identifies problems or issues that falls inside its space and also nurturing
responsiveness of ethical magnitudes of specific condition. Second one provide an approach
