Zone Creation

We can create zones either (sand shale zones, or formation tops zone based on geological
information, or any type of zones)

Task: You are to create Sand shale zones in your data set

1- In the plot window select

2- Zone-Type Catalog will open hit on the green plus  and defile the name of
catalog and the category EX: Catalog: Zone_Catalog…………. And the
Category: sand_shale_Zones
3- You can edit using the small pencil icon
4- To Add zone you need to hit the add zone type below:

5- New zone will appear, click on on the zone to edit name, colour.

6- A new window will appear you can edit name colour and pattern as you like EX: sand
7- Now select the zone that you create and mark it on the log with the mouse

8- Make sure that there is no empty area between zones

9- The small Black triangle at the edge means that the zones are contacting each other
so make sure no empty space between the zone.

10- Once you finish click right click save the zonation write the name and save
