Nowadays, television has become an important part of modern life. Thanks
to television, we can gain plenty of knowledge from a lot of fields. There are a variety of TV programs for us to watch these days yet the one I like most would be “Who wants to be a millionaire?”. I started to watch the show when I was in grade 2 and I have never missed an episode. As far as I can remember, the program made its first debut in 2005 on VTV3, from a game show in the UK. This program, in which contestants have to choose the right answers among 4 given sentences for 15 questions with increasing difficulty, can keep audience in suspense. Competitors are given four helps with too difficult questions. If a contestant finishes the 5 th, the 10th and the last question, he/ she can get the money from the program. I have a great passion for the show because it gave me not only a good laugh but also a sea of knowledge. Information acquired from “Who wants to be a millionaire?” are really useful for me. I watch the show whenever I have spare time on TV or sometimes on the Internet. Certainly I will continue to watch the program and start with the USA and the UK versions so that I can broaden my horizon easily.
