My Hobby Essay

Everyone must have a hobby in daily life. My favourite hobby is watching TV. When I
have free time, I like to watch TV. It never interfered with my studies and duties as a teacher.
First of all, I like to finish my job as a housewife and then start watching TV to relieve the
stress of the work I face on a daily basis.

I think that is a good habit because watching TV brings a lot of knowledge in any
field. Generally, I watch news and other channels such as discovery channels, animal
planets or drama channels. Sometimes, I watch excellent cartoons that give me creative and
new ideas for making cartoons and art.

My kids admire my hobby and they are also very happy when they just hear the
whole news update through my storytelling. Although, I studied in college, the hobby can
give me pleasure and has been practiced from time to time since childhood.

Watching television the right way plays a very important role in one’s life. It helps us
create something creative. Always give us the latest information on all kinds of news and
views. This tells us what is happening around the world. Gaining knowledge of today's
events is very important for modern society because of the great competition. It benefits a lot
because it expands our knowledge and thinking. It enriches our thoughts, ideas, and
experiences.

There are also various types of programs on TV that are very important to increase
our awareness of problems around the world. TV channels also hold various types of
educational programs such as history, economics, science, mathematics, culture, and
geography etc. to expand our knowledge. So I chose the hobby of watching TV as a daily
routine to fill my free time. Hope my hobbies can attract others to try it out.
