Televised talent shows have become popular in many societies today.

Are these shows a good method of finding talented people, or are they just entertainment?

Here is my opinion

With the development of technology, you can find talent shows on television. Not only
is it an entertainment program, it’s also an opportunity for people to be famous. So, I think
these shows are widely known when they are shown on TV.
Talent shows are popular because viewers enjoy seeing people like themselves on
television. In Vietnam, there are many televised talent shows such as: Rap Viet, Master chef,
Vietnam's Next Top Model, and so on…. But nowadays, Rap Viet which is trending, you can vote
for your favorite contestant, but they must be selected by the judges before they can proceed
to the next round. Because they want to be famous and prove their talent in Rap, that’s why
they join. People watch this show on TV for the first reason they want entertainment after
work; the second reason is that they are curious about the show and the third reason is that
they have the same interests as the contestants.
In the Rap Viet show, if a contestant is the winner of this show, that person will be
known more and more and receive a lot of compliments and awards. But if a contestants are
loser, then they will be known by everyone, also supported by everyone. They gain more
experience, make more friends, and prove themselves to everyone. If someone wins a show
like Rap Viet, they will earn a lot of money, too.
In conclusion, I think televised talent show is the reliable method because as I said
before. With the development of technology, that shows on TV will be known by more and
more people. Although you win or lose, you will be supported by everyone, become more
mature and more experienced. That’s on.
