Against counter troops the 4th army would be the way to go. The data of Line 1 stays the same almost everytime.
The data of Line 1 stays the same almost everytime. Even with huge differences in amount and T3 or T4 the Damage / Second stays similar to each other.
You see in 5th try 3 times the amount of counter troops in line 2 but not even double the damage done.
If you wanne go all the way to perfection you have to find a mix between 4th and 5th.
It is possible to focus on bows in second line for long matches cause they start later. You could switch the First Line to counter troops if you know what formation your enemy will do. but thats expensive on Bagdes, skills and equipment. also you would need
commanders for every setup
Of course if you are facing pure Inf for example you go with full Cav, no second Line. This test was to see how you can face off your counter without changing your main specc.
