Parts of speech Definition
Nouns The nouns names of people, places,
animals, things, events, etc.
Pronouns A pronoun takes the place of a noun
or pronoun. There are subject, object,
possessive adjectives, possessive
pronouns, reflexive pronouns.
Verbs A word that tells what someone or
something does.
Adjectives An adjective gives more information
about a noun or pronoun.
Adverbs  Describes a verb, an adjective or
another adverb. It tell us how, where,
when.
Articles Is a word that modifies or describes
the noun, it is used before the noun .
Prepositions Are the word which re used to connect
the different nouns, pronouns, and
phrases in a sentence.
Conjunctions Is a word which connects two words
or clauses or sentences and show the
relation between them.
Interjections Are used to indicate immediate
emotion.
