I) Translate the following paragraph into Urdu. OR Rewrite into simple English (All questions / options - 6 / 0 ) Marks
1.The village Panchayat works for the welfare of the villagers and looks after the needs of the people. It helps the villagers by
settling their disputes. It also helps in improving their working and living conditions. On the whole, the villagers ar simple
people. They live like a family. They share each others joys and sorrows. Our villagers have retained their old traditions and
customs.
2.There will be fewer road accidents if people on the road have traffic sense. The moments you leave your house, you are at a
risk. It does not matter whether you walk or ride a bicycle, motorcycle or drive a car. Our actions and those of others on the
road are responisble of our safety. You can minimize the risk by following some simple rules.
3.The villagers live in simple houses. Every village has a mosque where people offer prayers. Some of the smaller villages do
not have electricity. The villagers have green trees in and around their houses. The trees provide shady sitting places in the
summer afternoons. Usually a small village does not have a hospital, high school and post office.
4.Muslims always celebrate Eid-ul-Azha with a great religious devotion and enthusiasm. On this day Muslims wear new
clothes and go to offer Eid prayers. After Eid prayers people greet each other. It is a part of the social and cultural traditions.
Millions of goats, sheep, lambs, cows and camels are sacrificed after the Eid prayer for the sake of Allah Almighty.
5.In big cities, hundreds of men, women and children die every year in road accidents. Accidents are mostly caused by our
carelessness. Someone may walk into the road without looking out and be hit by a vehicle. Children playing in a busy street
may not be aware of a fast approaching vehicle. There will be fewer road accidents if people on the road have traffic sense.
6.He (PBUH) taught them how to lead their lives according to the true spirit of Islam. In the sermon, He (PBUH) gave such
guidelines to the Muslims and the entire humanity that aimed to improve their social, moral, personal, and political life. Here is
the extract from the sermon: "All praise is due to Allah, so we praise Him, and seek His pardon and we turn to Him. We seek
refuge with Allah from the evils of ourselves and from the evil consequence of our deeds.
