BRAVIA Engine combines Sony’s three unique technologies to deliver superb picture clarity through seamless Full Digital Processing, which advances digital

This is an enhanced version of BRAVIA Engine, DRC-MFv2.5, which has the added ability to process interlaced, progressive and even HD video signals.
Because it has increased processing power over previous DRC-MF circuits, it can do its processing and output them to 1080p with the least amount of
conversions, avoiding degradation. This is in addition to the crisp details, outstanding contrast, eye-popping colours and dramatically fine detail reproduction
that DRC-MF circuitry is known for.

HIGH DEFINITION
Created to be the premium standard for TV and broadcast programming, Full High Definition (HD) utilises 1080 scanning lines, offering double the quality
and clarity of conventional 525-line analogue resolution. With HD products, you can enjoy intensely sharp pictures, superb digital realism, deep blacks and
vibrant colours, and widescreen broadcast - all in the comfort of your home. While HD-Ready TVs are capable of accepting High Definition signals, only Full
HD TVs are capable of displaying the complete 2 million pixel image.

FLAT TELEVISION:
The two types of flat televisions are LCD and Plasma. The Sony BRAVIA range features LCD as it offers several advantages over Plasma.

HD LCD TVs. MotionFlow™ High Frame Rate technology doubles the amount of frames from 50fps to 100fps and does it the right way by using real-time
calculation of every single frame of video to create entire new frames of information.
High Speed Response
SXRD™ technology does not merely stop at resolution but takes into account Response Time, critical for any viewing of fast-moving images like sports, action
and animated films. Having an ultra-thin Liquid Crystal cell which is half as thick as conventional LCD panels, offers a tremendous advantage because thinner
layers equate to fewer Liquid Crystal molecules to ‘twist’. As such, more power is available to ‘twist’ each molecule, resulting in faster response time for
each pixel.
Super High Contrast
Whilst the SXRD™ panel has a native contrast ratio of 5 000:1, Sony aimed for the ultimate in Home Theatre. Pairing the SXRD™ panel with the Advanced
Iris function in the optical unit allows the TV to achieve up to 10 000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio – the brightest image possible is 10 000 times brighter than
the darkest image possible.

CINEMA CINEMA BLACK PRO

BLACK PRO Sony BRAVIA SXRD TVs incorporate unique Sony technology known as Advanced Iris. Combining the SRXD panel’s native contrast ratio of 5 000:1 with sublime
iris control, Sony’s BRAVIA TVs achieve up to 10 000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio! Sony calls this beautiful synergy ‘Cinema Black Pro’.

WIDE COLOUR GAMUT CCFL

This revolutionary Sony technology will colour your senses. Offering more accurate colour reproduction, the Wide Colour Gamut CCFL (Cold Cathode
Fluorescent Lamp) enhances green and red phosphors, displaying images and a vibrant realism that is unlike anything you’ve seen before. It can reproduce
colour approximately 30% more than that of standard CCFL backlights.

10-BIT PANELS
The10-Bit panel display increases the television’s gradation level by 64 times from 8-Bit panels. This means that you will see smoother transitions from colour
