Advances in technology are helping us

to live healthier and longer lives. Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.

Everyone agrees that technologies have been changing our world fastly. I strongly believe that
these changes are helping us to have healthier and longer lives. I think for two main reasons
which I’ll explore in the following essay.

To begin with, the emergence of new medical technologies. Technologies such as vaccines,
antibiotics, antiviral has been contributing to extend our expectation of life. Nowadays we can
treat almost every disease effectively using the currently medical methods. In the past we
didn’t have to many medical technics to face illnesses. Any meaningless illness could be mortal
for our ancestors. For instance, in the 19 th century a simple flue could be mortal, these days
the only thing that you need to do is go to the doctor to apply a vaccine and is done. This is
definitely a great advance as a human.

Secondly, the develop of new efficient agricultural and farming methods. In older times the
production of vegetables and meat was too ineffective and expensive. They can be affected by
plagues and diseases also plants depended of the weather. Today this is quite different the
greatest production of plants can be modifying genetically to be stronger against predators
and weather conditions also they can have more nutrients and can grow faster. We can use
these advances with life stocks as well, making animals to grow faster and healthier, therefore
we can receive better meat quality. I realize that technologies are changing our diet when I
saw a video about meat made totally from vegetables. The meat was exactly the same that
animal meat and we can receive all the necessary nutrients from them. In the future we could
be possible replace meat from our diet.

In conclusion, I believe that technology has change our live in a good way. Because they allow
us to have longer life and to have access to healthier foods.
