do the following pages in the activity book: 8 and 9
REMEMBER! For words you don’t know, you can look them up in an online dictionary, for example,
you can use: https://kids.wordsmyth.net/we/
ALL THE ACTIVITIES PROVIDED SHOULD BE DONE ON A SEPARATE PIECE OF PAPER,
EITHER DIGITALLY OR BY HAND. BE READY TO TURN IT IN ON THE FIRST CLASS WE SEE
EACH OTHER AGAIN.
1. We’ll be working with the students’ book and revising questions in present simple, present
continuous and present perfect. Remember when we use each tense. Here’s a chart that
can help you.
Do you/we/they wash Are you studying English Have you eaten dinner?
their hands? at the moment?
Has he finished
Does he/she/it eat meat? homework?
Wh-questions Wh + Aux + Pronoun + V? Wh + verb to be + PR + Wh + pr + Vpart?

You can also take a look at page 144 in the students’ book. There is some information that can
help you there.
2. Now you can start working on the students’ book. We’ll use pages 14 and 15. I’m sending
you the listening we need. You can listen to it and do exercise 2, matching the questions
with the corresponding answers. You’ll also know more about Richard Branson.
3. Once you are done, with the words and phrases in blue from exercise 2, you can
complete the GRAMMAR FOCUS chart.
4. After that, you can also do exercise 4. Take a look at the different answers (Pay
attention to the tense!) and write its corresponding question. You can listen to track 18
to check.
5. Exercise 5 has two different answers for two questions, a subject question and a wh-
question. You have to write the complete question using the Word/phrase that you have
there as a prompt.
1. Think about the question in exercise 1. Then, listen to track 19 and check where those
two people volunteer at (exercise 2).
2. Listen to track 19 again and do exercise 4. Decide which of the two, Karen or Martin,
has done each of those actions.
3. With track 20, you can do exercise 6 and 8.
4. With track 23, complete exercise 1D in the wordstore section of the students’ book
(page 3).
Look at exercise 1 on the students’ book, page 18, and think what parents generally say
about teenagers or the other way around, things teens say about their mom and/or dad.
After that, you can start reading the article. Some sentences are missing (they are on
exercise 3) you have top ut them back on the text.
Exercises 6 and 7 have to do with vocabulary. You have to look for those words in the text.
You can guess their meaning from context but also, remember that you can look for the
unknown words here: https://kids.wordsmyth.net/we/
PRACTICE: read the article on Classroom Psychology and do all the exercises on the activity
book, pages 12 and 13.
