ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

Another activity that is considered as part of the objective of the YES-O club is to
maintain the cleanliness and help the environment I together with my other co-officers
planned to collect the recyclables or what we call the Recyclables Collection Events . The
collection of recyclables were sold last October 02,2019 and November 06, 2019.
As the secretary, I chose to push through with this activity because with the help of
this trash or recyclables that we have, we can earn money that will help each class even
though its not too much.
The steps that is given to this activity is every Monday, Tuesday and Friday each class
should bring the white papers, colored papers and plastic bottles to the MRF. After this every
one month the collector will come and get this. As the secretary it is my duty to record the
corresponding weights and amounts of the given recyclables. After this, the payment of
recyclables were distributed or given to the sections (advisers) who brought their
recyclables at the MRF.
The difficulties that I encountered is there were bags of garbages that were not
segregated properly (mixed residuals, and papers). There were also plastic bottles with
residues of chewed betelnut or ”momma” inside.
The contingency plan that I planned to this activity is I should record the name of the
sections for reminding purposes. And in the other hand, when the collector will not come it
is our duty as officer to fix the MRF and segregate each trash to ensure that we will earn
money from it.
By the record list of the corresponding weights and amounts in every section I can
say that the club monitors the implementation of the activity. Thus this help me see whether
the section segregates its trash properly.
By the help of this residuals that we usually not see its importance I chose to manage
it as a resources of some money to help the class with not so much money. Because even
though in trash there is money when you use it properly.
