ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

“The sport in scouting is to find the good in everybody and develop it.”-unknown

One activity that I participated is the SOFAD (Scout Officer for a Day) that is held at
Baguio City National High School on October 9, 2019.

The purpose of this activity is to showcase to the public and to stakeholders the
contribution of scouting through the development of young people. By actively engaging and
supporting the community to become agents of change in our respective communities. And
by this activity us, young people of the modern time may develop our skills in leadership
with a goal and nice intentions.

In this activity my role is a Scout Administrative Officer IV for a day. With the help of
Ma’am Mylene James who stand as the School Administrative Officer IV my day being a
school officials is as magical as I imagine.

As I observe the biggest impact of this activity in the community is we develop the
connection in everybody. This activity teach us to know the importance of communication
that we should do to run a school or a community. With the help of the officials or the school
administration even though we stand for them in only one day we already have an idea on
how they work behind all the success of the school.

If I were the organizer of another activity I could say that I will extend the number of
days that our SOFAD or us scout will sit in our given position. In this, I can say that we could
really see the difficulties that our officials are going through everyday.

This activity thought me that being a leader is measured in action not in words.
