Mid-Year
In-Service Training
2nd Day’s REFLECTION
A teacher is just like a light rays, it provides a clear direction to the pupil’s
perspective about education. That learning must not be a requirement to pursue but rather
an enjoyable journey where they could see the importance of every step they take as they
move forward towards their goal/dreams in life.

Our second day session is still about the RPMS viewing the 2 episodes of the RPMS in
the time of Covid19 and Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers. As a resource
speaker of this topic and a teacher as well I became enlighten of the things that I need to do
as a teacher in this time of pandemic. In my own perspective, RPMS and PPST are both
important to every government employee which serves as a guide of us in order to aim our
target for ourselves as a teacher. It helps me reflect and ponder on my strength and
weaknesses as a classroom teacher, a professional individual, and a colleague as well of the
school where I am into.

As we viewed the 2 episodes, realization came out instantly in my mind that at the
end of the day, keeping on track in my teaching is important. I should be detailed in my plan
of teaching and consider my strength and weaknesses as teacher. Furthermore, it should be
focused on the learner’s improvement as a whole.
