Before the firsts speaker started the topic. She called some of the participants to recap the trainings
that have been done. To begin, she asked the teachers of what is the most important in life. Some of
the teachers answered health, life, peacefulness, positivity in life. There are also an activity and sharing
and it is a challenge for most of the couple teachers who are working in the same field. Ma’am Jemma
left a quotation, “Our goal is to provide and promote values integrations at all grade levels for the
development.” That was because shaping the values first of the learners is the most important of all
because it still affect the learner’s performance inside and outside of the school.
For the second speaker, Ma’am Glenda del Rosario, she began by asking and reflecting about
the characteristics of the teachers who they have met and liked about. This talks about the Personality
development of the teachers that we like and don’t like. She also asked us about the teachers we like
and don’t like and reflect if it’s reflecting as to us, teachers. This is also about the Academic and
psychological researchers say that personality of a teacher has significant influence on student
outcomes
For the third speaker, Ma’am Reychelle Serrano, she talked about the cultural diversity of
the leaners inside the classroom. We should be welcoming and being open-minded about culturally
responsive teachers with that, the learners may feel included, validated and valued. Added to that, she
stated that us teachers should form a relationship as being open to suggestions, likes and dislikes, and
interest to feel that the learners are able to trust and communicate effectively.
For the last speaker of that day, Sir Erickson Serrano asked the teachers to describe a 21 st
century learners. He talked about the self-regulating learners that may empower them to be
independent to learning. He discussed that it may be a lifelong learning for the learners to let them
discover and control their own learning.

The second day meet by department. Our moderator, Ma’am Gianne Ciara Vasquez started
the meeting with a smile and energetic introduction. Sir Noel Malanum lead the nationalistic song.
Added to that, Ma’am Mary Joy Ariate lead the prayer. And of course, for the energizer, the teachers
participate actively lead by Ma’am Alicia Jamandron. Our speaker, Ma’am Amilou Morante, ask the
teachers of what is the meaning of holistic management. The teachers unitedly answered that it was a
humane approach and the totality of the classroom management. She also discussed that under the
teacher’s role, it was the behavior of the students within the classroom are a direct product of the
teacher’s environment. She explained that there are some factors in connection with the Holistic
Classroom environment such as being an authority figure, building culture such as setting rules, setting
a shared vision of the class that may have an effect on shaping the class. There are instances that the
learner may disrupt the lesson but it should be written in the anecdotal record with intervention to the
learners. Added to that, us, teachers should provide a well-planned engaging lesson will decrease
students’ behavior problems. There is a quotation left with the teachers, “Classroom management is
not about having the right rules, its about having the right relationship. “The TLE teachers have pledge
about the speakers’ definition of their commitment to teaching (see attached pictures for references)

We begin the third day of the INSET with a patriotic song led by Ma’am Jhoe Altamia. Ma'am
Cecilia Bragais led the prayer with sincere devotion. Added to that, the participants begin the meeting

that if an incident develops into bullying, neither party should meet and confer privately.

were all discuss the reactions about the image. She also questioned how we were able to get to know
our students in the classroom. Added to that, there are ways to support different learners which is the
topic of session 1. Students that have a diversity of experiences and backgrounds are said to be diverse
learners. Providing differentiated instruction, creating flexible seating arrangement, using positive
reinforcement, making accommodations or sensory needs and simple task simplification, these are
some strategies that may assist different interest of the learners. To summarize it all, using of
individualized instruction which is directed to the needs of students and ensures active participation of
the learners, and also provide scope for learning at their own pace.
