DEMONSTRATION LESSON WORKSHEET

Name of Demo Teacher: Mrs. Ma. Soccoro Montenegro

Grade Level: Six
Subject Taught: English
Objective(s) of the Lesson: Making connections between information viewed and personal
experiences

1. What insights have you gained from the lesson?

The demo teacher used colorful pictures as her instructional materials and showed
video clips. She made a contextualized lesson plan so that children can relate to her lesson
like including the story of Taban Massacre and mentioned some popular places here in
Iloilo like Tratid in Leon, Zisag road in Igtubli Tubungan and Sambiday in Dalid ALimodian.
She delivered her lesson well and as her strategy in Evaluating learning she used multiple
intelligences by grouping children according to their abilities. Over all, the teacher did a
great job.

2. If you were a teacher of this subject with the same objectives of the lesson, would you
like to modify some approaches/strategies used? Why?

No, but if I were a teacher, I will bring my pupils to visit the place where the Taban
Massacre happened if our school location is just near to it.

3.Your suggestions to help enhance the lesson.

My only suggestion is the teacher can also let her learners tell their personal
experiences to the whole class about the places mentioned in her lesson if they had visited
some to make her lesson presentation more interesting and bring the place to the
classroom for their classmates that did not yet visited the place based on their story.
