Re: Permission to Conduct Reading Remedial

Dear Ma’am Degillo,

Greetings!

The future success of children lies in the ability to read fluently and understand what is read. Providing
remedial reading programs is imperative to improve both reading fluency and reading comprehension,
particularly to elementary school pupils because fluency and comprehension are particularly important
at this stage of development and early intervention can impact the progression of reading difficulties.

In line with this, the teachers of Amontay Elementary School would like to conduct a reading remediation
for non- readers from Grades 1 to 6.

The focus of this program is to improve the reading abilities and skills of the pupils. To enhance their reading
competency through decoding and word recognition, fluency and comprehension. Hence, inculcate to learners the
value in reading with understanding and have them realized its positive effect on their lives.

To understand more the said program, I have attached a detailed program overview.

This program would run from September 2021 to May 2022. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

GENCEL ANN P. VILLANUEVA
