MINUTES OF THE GENRAL PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION ASSEMBLY DATED AUGUST 11,2022

I The Gen. PTA Assembly begun with short program with Mrs Cecille R. Santiago as an
EMCEE:
1. Prayer led by Mrs. Jocelyn C. Ambida
2. Singing of the National Anthem Mrs. Nancy Ignacio In charge
3. Sumba Mrs. Cecille R. Santiago in charge
4. Opening Remarks by Mrs. Mailyn T. Agcaoili
5. Overview of the day activity by Master Teacher II Mr. Felix Jesus S. Mechor Jr.

II. Roll call by PTA Secretary Mrs. Shiera Magne Sinang.

III. The head teacher Mr. Melecio R. Delos Santos call the meeting to order at exactly 8:30.
He presented the agenda and gave some explanations .
A. Brigada Eskuwela
What to do? What to implement? And others .
B. Enrolment.
The pupils enrolment was not yet 100%, So, teachers, as well as parents, neighbour
should remind the other parents to enrolled their children to complete the
enrolment ready for the opening of classes. If possible teachers contact those
parents about this matter.
C. Face to Face Class
Although we have a limited face to face class yet. Every pupils must complete their
Covid- 19 vaccination because no pupil can have the face to face class unless
complete the vaccination. Pupils will soon used module as learning modality instead
of face to face class.
As we start soon the classes we must observe Covid -19 protocols, like using of face
mask, using of alcohol , getting of body temperature before entering the designated
room of pupil.
No parents allowed to got in the school premises during classes but, incase of PWD
pupil parent should accompany their child to his/her room.
D. Pupils need/others
The school pupils uniform, ID and other needs of pupils.
IV. Open Forum

Mr. Vrigilio Domingo a Grade 6 parent suggested that pupils must wore ID in coming to
school for many reason like identity and can be used in other purposes. The parents agreed upon that
every pupil wore ID in coming to school with the condition that school must helped in the printing and
laminating of the ID while parent bought the lei or ID holder.

While one parent Mrs.Esmenia Miguel mentioned about the used of school uniform of
children in coming to school. According to her the used of uniform was one way of avoiding
discrimination between the dresses of the well to do and the poor pupils. Many parents wanted their
children to wore uniform although It was not mandatory to do. They made a point that there will be day
that the children wore uniform and a free day . No sanction to pupils who cannot wore uniform.

V. Every Teacher/School Coordinator / gave their updates on their assigned assignment.

1. MRDDM School Coordinator

Mrs. Jocelyn Ambida share her expertized on her said assignment:
She discussed the things to be done during disaster like earthquake, typhoon and other.
Emphasized the “DUCK, COVER, and HOLD” before during anything else during earthquake.
Discussed also the recent seminar that she joined about mind set. According to her, The I am , I
have , I can and the value of resilience must I posses to guide somebody to do anything else.
Parents have a great role in development of their children , they work hand and hand with the
teacher for better result specially in reading.

2. HEALTH AND SANITATION SCHOOL COORDINATOR.

Mrs. Mailyn T. Agcaoili she said that “Ang Kalusugan ay Kayamanan na hindi nauutang . Health is
Wealth . So, we must be all healthy. She told that the Nutritional Status of the pupils improved a
lot. On the present total enrolment of pupils 142 there 0 severely wasted , 6 wasted , 119
belong to Normal , 17 above normal. This was obtained thru the help of the government and to
your close supervision on the eating habits of our children. I suggest that every child must have
a tumbler with water so that no one be affected to any sickness as the case may occur.

3. SCHOOL TREASURER
Mrs. Nancy D. Ignacio presented the FINANCIAL STATEMENT OF THE SCHOOL
The source of funds, projects done for the year.

4. SCHOOL GUIDANCE COORDINATOR

Mrs. Merlita M. Espiritu Read and discussed the school rules. regulations as well as policies for
the pupil and parent to follow. Parents have part in the development and behaviour of their
children. They were the partner of teachers in moulding and guiding the children for better
future she emphasized .
 5. BRIGADA ESKUWELA COORDINATOR / MASTER TEACHER II

Mr. Felix Jesus Jesus S. Melchor Jr. He gave addendum to the topics discussed. The Brigada
Eskuwela was not yet over. So. Let us do our part before the opening of classes his last word .

The general PTA Assembly was ended with a closing Prayer by Mrs. Martina Rosete
The meeting adjourned at exactly 12:00 oclock noon.
