Narrative Report

On the first day of our work immersion I thought it would not be easy to associate with the employees in
the firm because I have no idea in this kind of environment, but I was wrong. They are so polite and
generous to us and show hospitality manners.

In six weeks in Ace Classic Consumer Sales Inc. I have learned so much things about in the world of
business. Suchlike, how they are delivering goods to the supermarket, public market and retail
businesses. I also found out the purposes of different receipts that our warehouse supervisor gave to
their warehousemen. There is a return slip, that is important to record bad orders or the cancelled
orders of the customers. There is also a gasoline slip to know how much liters of gasoline she gave to the
driver of delivering truck. And also stock receipts, to know how many goods that is purchased by the
customers. I witness this kind of transactions in the office of our warehouse supervisor Mrs. Kristina
Manzon.

I owe her so much because from the start to the last day of our work immersion she was the one who is
always be with us, in guiding and teaching us in the flow of their business. I also learned how to count
boxes of goods in an easy way, that I was going to apply what I had learned on statistics and probability
in doing inventory. I admit that it is not easy for a begginner to do inventory because you need to
memorize all the codes of boxes has. In doing this, Sir Leo was always by our side to guide us to find
codes in inventory form to make counting faster. Because after counting of stocks, it is followed by
recounting to fixed the variance.

Obviously we are always in the warehouse so I also learned the warehousing practices guidelines about
the proper product handling and the proper product storage. At first I am shy in doing things inside the
firm but in the past few days I feel comfortable already. Sometimes we are goinng to the office of Sales
Supervisor Sir Rey Pangilinan to get his signature for our daily attendance and near to his table we met
Ma'am Pauleen, Ma'am Maricar and Ma'am Princess they are so kind to us. In our last day they gave as
valentines gift before we leave the firm. We will miss them all! Especially Ma'am Tina who gave us tasks
to do like recording invoices, filing of paper, doing inventory and encoding.

In enconding cancelled orders, it is needed to separate cases from piece. That thing that we need to
remember always. And when she was busy the only thing we do is to observe what she was doing and
other employees doing. Like when there was a loading of stocks in the delivery truck. I was imaze on
how they are putting the boxes of goods in a faster way and even though it is heavy they look effortless
in doing it.

In our last day, I felt sad that this i our last time working with them. So eventhough I have chicken fox I
need to attend for our last meeting and unexpectedly this day is also Valentines Day. Patricia and I
bought flowers and chocolates as a present for the employees and to Ma'am Tina. They felt touched and
give thanks to us when we gave them a simple present and greet them. And as an exchange Ma'am Tina
also gave as a mini chocolate cake. I will miss her so much. I will treasures every memories together and
the knowledge I have learned from her.

In celebration of what we have accomplished in the firm, we ate together including the employees in
Classic Brand. Of course we took pictures as a remebrance and gave them a thanks gift for their help in
developing our skills and building our confidence in a workplace. As Sir Rey promised we gain so much
knowledge in how they are managing their business. It is a great working experienced to work with

them. It is a big help in the near future when I have a job. I hope
we met each other again. Thankyou for the knowledge and a great working experience. See you soon
