Plane shapes or 2-D shapes
1.Rectangle:- Rectangle has four sides and four corners.
Opposite sides are equal in length.

2.Square:- Square has 4-side and 4- corners but all sides are
equal in length.

3.Triangle:- A triangle has three sides and three corners.

4.circle:- circle is a plane shape having no sides and no corners. It


is round in shape and is made up of curved line.




Solid shapes or 3-D shapes

1.Cuboid:- cuboid has 6 faces,12 edges and 8 corners. Opposite
sides are equal in length.


2. Cube:- Cube also has 6 faces, 12 edges and 8 corners. All sides
are equal.


3. Cylinder:-A cylinder has 1 curved face, 2 flat faces and 2
curved edges.


4. Cone:-Cone has 1 curved face,1 flat face, 1 curved edge and 1
corner.


5. Sphere:- Sphere is round shape having 1 curved face.
