THERMOL-D DESCRIPTION

Dear Sir,

Thank you for interest in our technology. The following intends to describe about
THERMOL-D: 100% Organic (non-metallic) additive developed by our own
prestigious IIT-Bombay (Indian institute of Technology) labs, & marketed by –
m/s “Abhitech Energycon Limited”.

Recently the research done for reducing Diesel consumption with our product, was also
showcased in the internationally acclaimed journal –“Fuel -Elsevier” &
ScienceDirect.com.

COMPANY INTRODUCTION

We are an ISO 9001:2015 certified Indian (Mumbai headed) organization producing

internationally acclaimed & completely organic catalysts for solid fuels (Like coal, pet-
coke, biomass) and liquid fuels (like Diesel and fuel oil) targeting combustion related
issues so as to reduce fuel cost and emission load, in the last 20 years of business.

Besides India, our subsidiaries are located in several countries, with engineers and sales
representatives in Europe (Ostrava: Czech Republic), South East Asia (Indonesia &
Malaysia), Canada, & Africa (Egypt & Sudan).

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

THERMOL-D is in the liquid form with multi-functional 100% Organic catalysts/additives

mixed on petroleum base liquid. Its dosing ratio is 1L for 2000L of Diesel.
It is 100% non-metallic formulation, and is completely self –miscible and safe to use.
Ingredients in product-
- Combustion catalysts,
- Lubricity enhancers,

- Dispersants,
- Corrosion inhibitors,
- Surfactants,
- Cetane improvers

100% CAPEX & OPEX free initiative

We do “Performance based on-site trials”, so as to gather client’s trust in the product. No
changes to be made in the already present system & engines.
OPEX free: We provide our dedicated combustion engineers, on-site, 24x7, for dosing &
detailed engine/application parametric observation.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

THERMOL-D contains following organic compounds in the petroleum base -
- Combustion catalysts, which reduce the C-C bond strength of Diesel allowing it to burn
faster, reducing the Carbon Monoxide & other HC and NOx/SOx emissions.
- Cetane Improver, which reduces the ignition delay and burns the Diesel at optimum
crank position to give maximum power output in B.S.F.C.
- Lubricity enhancers, which protects the fuel injection system with low Sulphur in
Diesel.
- Dispersants and Surfactants to make sure that the product cleans the pre combustion
zone, also ensuring optimum fuel diffusion with finer particles dispersed inside the
combustion chamber.
- Corrosion inhibitors to protect the injector and nozzle surface from the acidic deposits
made by chlorine and other harmful elements.

CORRESPONDING BENEFITS
Reduction in Diesel consumption by 4% - 6% minimum.
Promotion of smoother engine operation and reliability.
Reduction in engine Vibration & noise.
Reduction in emission: CO, CO2, NOx/SOx.
Improvement in Power output.
Improved Opacity in Exhaust gases.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT & PERFORMANCE ESTABLISHMENT EXERCISE

AEL provides technical support 24X7. Our combustion engineers facilitate and regularize
the dosage for the entire operations on-site.
Flue gas analysis and Engine Noise estimation shall also be done Free of cost with our
equipment (Decibel meters, flue gas analyser, hygrometer), with and without the
product addition.
Performance establishment is generally done in two ways:

1)    Constant Load Test (Finished in a span of 2 to 3 days, showing benefits
accordingly) (Done with a constant load engine without any variations, for example:
Diesel generators for lighting).
2)    Longer duration field Test (Comparatively longer duration test, approximately
20-30 days) (detailed parameter study of the HEMM/Marine engine).

Initially, without dosing, a baseline study is conducted for a period of 8 – 10 days
without THERMOL-D for calculation of average Diesel consumption for specific output
(Litre/hour, Litre/ton, KMPL etc.).

During this study, we thoroughly examine the engine performance w.r.t the specific
characteristic curve at different RPM.

Thereafter, THERMOL-D is dosed for a period of minimum 2 – 3 weeks to establish its

benefits in the now reduced BSFC (Brake specific fuel consumption) or Litre per ton/hr.
