    Pre-Teaching Vocabulary

     
    Before your discussion, you need to teach your group the most important
    vocabulary in your article.

    1. Choose 5 words.

    2. Write down these words on cards.


    a. Write one word on each card.
    b. Write the Japanese meaning on one side.
    c. Write the English meaning on the other side.

    3. Give your group a quiz about these words.


    • e.g. Do you know this word? / It means … in Japanese.

    4. Make your group pronounce each word 3-4 times.

    5. Place your cards on the table so that your group can see them during
    your discussion.
