FLEXIBLE WORK ARRANGEMENTS

Implementing flexible work arrangements can be favorable to employee and employer.


Maybe some people are thinking that these are only in favor to employee, but this can also favor
to employer, because they can help their employee to balance things and be productive. Flexible
work arrangements also is one of the things that the employee being look at. Because sometimes
without these they are feel that that certain work can chain them. So it is common that every
company or agency has their own practices in work arrangements.

One of the known Filipino owned companies that practicing flexible work arrangements
is the Ayala Corporation. The well-being of the employees is important to Ayala. In this regard,
the organization remains responsible in ensuring the employees occupational health are
safety. The organization remains committed to being compliant to related regulations on
industrial health and safety, both locally and globally. The organization realizes that an
assessment of the risks related to business and employees is critical and to this end, the
organization ensures a continuous and updated review and assessment of the related processes. It
is important that hazards to the organization are identified clearly to ensure quick and proper
response in mitigating these elements. Next that they giving priority is the Policy on Child
Labor and Forced or Compulsory Labor, for the purposes of this policy, a “child” is defined
as an individual who is below 18 years of age, and “forced or compulsory labor” is any service
exacted from a person who is unwilling, under the threat of penalty or menace. The organization

flexible scheduling, time off, and other programs geared toward a sustainable work-life balance.
More than 15 percent of their employees don’t work traditional Monday through Friday
schedules.

Lastly, the number one that implementing the flexible works arrangements when it comes
to Philippine agency is DOLE. In 2010, DOLE released another set of guidelines for the
implementation of flexible work arrangements and the exemption from night work prohibition
for female employees in the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry. With these guidelines,
the department stresses the exemption of female employees form the night work prohibition
under Article 130 of the Labor Code. Under Article 130, female employees are allowed to
work during nighttime as long as they aren’t below 18 years of age and are in accordance
with Article 131 of the Labor Code. In turn, employers must provide a safe and healthful
working spaces, as well as adequate resting areas within the workplace. DOLE encourages
businesses to adhere to such guidelines to promote the overall wellbeing of their employees,
which contributes to the success of the organization.

Several studies and researches have been conducted on the jobs which have a higher
chance of getting replaced by AI machines, robots, and other automated devices. In this article,
we present you with a comprehensive enlistment of jobs and professions that will be fully
computerized in a few decades. Based on the nature, type and amount of training required for

In the next few years, your delivery-boy will no longer have a human form. Drones and
robotic devices are rapidly taking over the courier and delivery services. The expectancy of a

fully automated.

The evolution of technology in the field of security is commendable. With facial


recognition systems to high-tech robotic guards, AI has made huge advancements in the field of
security.

As the days go on, as individual today I predict that one of the new job that will emerge
in the future is medical mentor. We are aware that there are doctors and nurses that giving
medical consultation to the patients, on what medicine they can take and how do the patient take
care of their health. But after of this consultation, there are patients who didn’t follow the
recommendation of medical experts because of some reasons, that’s why instead of getting well
they are getting worst. Through medical mentor they can monitor those patients that need to give
focus if they are following their medical recommendation. The doctors and nurses cannot do it
by themselves because there a lots of work inside the hospital, so I can sense that medical mentor
can be the way. Especially now a days that health is one of the issue worldwide and affect our
daily lives because of not taking care of ourselves. Nobody is completely sure about what the
future of AI holds for the coming human generations, but considering the human capabilities to
learn, to adapt, to self-educate— it is safe to say that human beings are bound to bring about
more rapid and successful changes in the world.
