I understand that checks of my background are required to determine my suitability for a position with an Amazon

company in India. I also understand that Accurate Background, a third-party vendor ("Accurate Background") has
been engaged to conduct background screening on Amazon's behalf. These background checks may include but are
not limited to the following components. I agree to participate in and assist Amazon with the completion of these
checks as necessary to successfully complete my background check:

1. A criminal check of my current country of residence and all countries where I have lived for more than a
year in the last seven years, where permissible. When applicable, I agree to give to Amazon my criminal
certificate(s) dated within 90 days of receipt by Amazon. I also give consent for a criminal check to be
conducted by Accurate Background, where applicable.
2. A check of terrorist and sanctions lists;
3. A check of my educational credentials;
4. A check of my past employment history and possible reference checks with former employers; and
5. A check of any licenses that I hold that are applicable to the job.

In connection with this process, I consent to the checks described above, and any other checks deemed required for
the role.

I understand that Accurate Background will be collecting the information on behalf of Amazon in order to conduct
the background checks detailed above.

I understand that any omissions or misrepresentations by me in the background check process or any other
documentation submitted in support of my job application, including a resume, may be brought to my attention and
in the absence of a satisfactory explanation may be a cause for dismissal or revocation of any employment offer.

I understand that the information received by Amazon and any agents acting on its behalf will be held in
confidence and used exclusively by Amazon and any agents acting on its behalf for professional purposes, and for
as long as my employment contract with Amazon remains valid in case I am hired.

I understand that Amazon may request checks of my background for employment-related purposes during the
course of my employment. The scope of these checks will be the same as the scope of a pre-employment
background check, which is to determine my continuing suitability for employment, or whether I possess the
minimum qualifications necessary for promotion or transfer to another position. I understand that my consent will
apply throughout my employment, unless I revoke or cancel my consent by sending a signed letter or statement to
Amazon at any time, stating that I revoke my consent and no longer allow Amazon to conduct background checks
on me.

I hereby confirm and agree that I have been informed the recipients of my personal data (including any sensitive
personal information) as well as my access and modification rights related to my personal data are held by Amazon
and any agents acting on its behalf. I further acknowledge and agree that the information about me may be
transferred outside of the country in which it was collected, to countries that may have different laws protecting
personally identifiable data, with an adequate level of data protection in compliance with the provisions of the
Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules framed thereunder.
