Que 1. Statement of Purpose.

In this ever changing world of technological advancement, one thing which remain the center of the
attraction is 'Business Management'. No matter how fast we develop with technology, but if we do not
have impeccable leaders to manage the pace and advancements, technology is of no use. I want to
become such a leader, a leader who has quality of both a technologist as well as management leader. I
want to learn the 'What's' and 'How's' of the business model to provide a sustainable contribution.

Having grown up in a technical environment, my thought process has always been inclined towards
science and how to utilize the available resources to solve real-life problems. The interest in logical and
computational thinking led me to take up Mathematics, physics and Chemistry as my major subjects at
the Pre-University level after completing my Schooling with 80.2%. I completed my pre-University
education with 77%.

The primary objective behind my MBA is 'learning' specifically. I want to fill my gaps in my knowledge, so
that I can upgrade my existing skills by utilizing my experience, creativity and leadership qualities. I
believe that my past experience has prepared me to undertake the MBA program at SOIL. I believe that
the PGDM programme will provide me with the opportunity to explore diverse entrylevel career
options, suitable to my interests. Further, I am confident that the faculty and top practitioners at SOIL
will provide me with unparalleled guidance to help ma achieve my goals and contribute my services to
professional world and nation building.

Recalling a time when I have performed extremely well takes me back to a point which is not related
directly to my professional life, but I believe, that instance changed my life a little bit.

I still remember that day in office when we were planning to organize a fund raiser event for a charity
purpose, and for the very first time I volunteered to bring sponsors for a charity event.

I believe working for a cause which is not for self but for the people is extremely challenging because
you have to convince people to spend their money by which they are not getting benefited.I was happy
and satisfied as well because I was able to convince some people to actually invest their money into this
fund raising activity. It was a bit tough, but I am glad that I managed.
Probably that was the day I realized my inner potential to touch lives and make a mark outside of this
professional world. I am happy I got this chance from my previous organization to unlock the mystery of
my own inner worth. This instance has always pushed me forward in every situation, to perform well
and never give up!

In my technology consulting career, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with various outlook
clients, getting an insights into their business needs, and designing and reviewing solutions for various
business functions which has helped me develop a customer focused approach. Through your program i
would like to get some insights regarding the Business Design and the whole dynamics working behind
the Business Model.

School of business design will help me become a more creative person and an innovator. Through your
program I will learn to prioritize and organize my efforts and responsibilities through relationship
building activities. I hope your curriculum will provide a rich portfolio of exposure and skills spanning
traditional as well as emerging areas of business management.

Talking about the difference I am a fun loving person who is always exploring new things and seeking
new experiences, I like to meet new people, make friends and learn from my peers, I believe in inclusive
growth, I always seek inspiration from my surroundings and try to improve myself as and when required.
Moreover, living among eclectic diversities across the country provided the exposure of various cultures
which harnessed me the understanding towards people across geographies and made me adaptable.
The business and technological insights, interpersonal skills, ethics and proclivity to motivate peers
acquires right from the college days till professional career will work in tandem with the exemplary
culture of the institute. The helping attitude of mine will buttress the knowledge sharing milieu of the
institute.
