 Identify a place in your State

 Locate its longitude & latitude (using websites)
 Plot the sun-path diagram for your place

 Get constants “a” and “b” values of Page-Angstrom from Journals (using Science Direct search)
 Get “n” value for the place chosen from either Anna Mani’s Solar Radiation Data for India book
or TRNSYS datafiles or from Journal papers using Science Direct search
 Estimate H using the Page-Angstrom relation
 Compare the monthly average H calculated with that of actual data reported from the above
references
 Using the actual data collected for your site, apply a linear regression fit and get the “a” and “b”
values of Page-Angstrom. Compare this with the values you have already used (Note: Excel has
facility to carry out linear regression of data).
