(IJSER, 2017), “PAYTM”, Paytm can be accessed through its website and is also

available on all phone platforms as an application. The most widely used way of offline

digital transaction, which means it’s easy to find local stores where Paytm payment is

accepted. Paytm offers the widest range of options where it can be used. The money stored in

Paytm Wallet can be used for sending money, purchases, cab rides and much more. Paytm

has disable transfer to bank feature on its app and website, which means you can’t send the

money in your wallet back to your bank account.

(Michael John M. Belda, Girlie M. Enero, Rhendell John M. Pariño, XyrilMaicah F. Saul, Mariel

Ruth S. Villegas, Rhowel M. Dellosa et al., 2015) "ENHANCING THE BUS PAYMENT METHOD

USING ANDROID AND RFIDTECHNOLOGY", Public utility buses are the most commonly used
vehicle in a long distance journey passing through provincial and national roads. Problems in bus

transactions are being encountered. Usually, the passengers do not have exact amount in paying bus

fares and the conductors‟ method of collection is timeconsuming. This project study focuses on the use

of available technologies, such as RFID and Android. These are the tools used by the

proponents to develop an improved system of bus fare transactions. This system includes an electronic

card, which will be used by the passenger to pay for their fares, an RFID reader will also be used to

accumulate and to store the information from the card, and an Android operated device, which will

process each transaction. This system will be connected via Bluetooth. The software is linked to the

hardware as well. The proponents conducted series of tests and concluded that the proposed system is

much faster than the existing methods. It is verified as well that it is more capable of performing

necessary actions in accumulating bus fares.

(Steves Chaves et al. 2019), "Industry Study of Electronic Money", The motivation for

innovation in the e-Money industry can be attributed to the power of the consumers as they are the

primary users of the technology and ultimately, their adoption would dictate the success or failure of the

innovation. Although it is also relevant to point that merchant adoption and the whole ecosystem may

also influence the motivation for innovation, in the end, consumer adoption would still outweigh the

other. Numerous researches have focused on studying consumer adoption to identify the antecedents or

drivers that influence technological adoption by consumers. Studies concluded that consumer adoption

factors of e-Money technology are security, cost, convenience, characteristics of mobile service

provider, characteristics of mobile payment vendor, characteristics of mobile technology, disposition of

trust, and disposition of culture. These factors provide basis to the development of radical or incremental

innovations in the e-Money industry. The high mobile penetration and tech-savviness of Filipinos also

makes the Philippines a mobile money innovation hub. GSMA noted that the dramatic rise in
smartphone adoption has been one of the factors in the increasing adoption of Filipinos (Pasti, 2019)

despite the country’s lagging Internet speed.

(Dr.S.V.Ramana Rao, 2015), "E- WALLET – A ‘PAY’VOLUTION", Smartphone has gained lot

of prominence in our day to day life and its offering many services and people can do many things by

just tapping the phone. This electronic gadget not only serves as a communication tool but also used for

socialization, entertainment, internet access and payments. Technology has enabled the smartphone

users to do merchandising. Besides payment, people can also do functions like store receipts, coupons,

business cards, bills…in their smartphones. When smartphones can function as leather wallets, it is

called “Digital Wallet” or widely known as “Mobile Wallet”

(Gilberto M. Llanto et al., 2018), "E-Finance in the Philippines: Status and Prospects for Digital

Financial Inclusion", Digital technology applied to banking and financial transactions or e-finance in

general has made financial services more widely available and affordable to consumers. And with

appropriate and affordable technologies and applications, the financially excluded and the unserved can

participate in mainstream banking and finance that will open many opportunities for consumption

smoothing and investment and earning possibilities. This paper attempts to study the contribution of

technology towards financial inclusion in the Philippines and analyze whether e-finance has enabled the

last mile consumers to avail of financial products and services affordably and conveniently. It uses data

from financial inclusion databases, and results from a national financial inclusion survey, key informant

interviews and focus group discussions with users of a mobile banking application. Electronic money

transfers are found to be increasing in the country, but digital adoption rate, particularly for mobile

payments, is relatively low especially if compared with countries in the region. The study probes into the
experience and concerns of digital finance users, and presents recommendations to improve provision

and use of digital financial products and services.

(Professor Mark E. Budnitz, 2016), "The Legal Framework of Mobile Payments", As the

popularity of mobile payments grows, it becomes increasingly important to understand the legal

framework in which these transactions take place. Consumers need to know their rights and

responsibilities. They need to be alert to the financial risks they are exposed to and the legal remedies

available when transactions go awry. Financial institutions and other companies that facilitate mobile

payments need clear rules describing their obligations, rights, and liability as they develop new mobile

payment products and contract with consumers for mobile payment services. Finally, policymakers need

to understand the impact of applicable laws and rules on consumers and mobile payment providers so

they can evaluate whether they are adequate, and if not, what new provisions are needed.

(Banu A et al., 2018) ”Journal of Computational and Theoretical Nanoscience”, As the number

of mobile devices continuous to grow, more and more online and offline retailers are incorporating

mobile commerce into their business strategy. More retailers are bringing their online shop to offline

world using QR codes. QR codes is a cell phone reliable bar code that can store website URL, phone

number, email address and much more. A virtual store shows products on some printed materials, on

PDA's or Digital display, or on product itself. As the movement of using QR codes in shopping is still in

its infancy. Android is a growing technology which have started to fulfill need with lots of application to

make things handy. QR Codes can connect the users to the information quickly and easily. In this paper,

we explore how QR codes can be used in shopping. The low technical barrier of creating and reading

QR codes allows innovative shop owners to incorporate them into their shopping endeavors. The

operations to retrieve or store QR codes are incredibly simple and quick, and with mobile devices. The
consumer of our application can able to purchase products through the QR Code and stored that product

in the cart. To increase the security in online payment, two levels authentication is provided during the

transaction process using PAKE protocol at level one and OTP at level two. For wide accessibility, the

whole system is developed using open source and freely-available software.

(Tabianan K et al. 2019),”QR-code based E-wallet System using Android platform”, Currently,

in order to make payment or purchase an item, the INTI community needs to pay with physical cash.

Since they use physical cash, it means they are required to carry their wallet/purses around, and there is

a chance that they may lose it, thus, money is lost/stolen. Furthermore, they need to make frequent trips

to Automated Teller Machines (ATM). The E-wallet can provide a safer platform to make payments and

purchase items, thus eliminating the need to carry cash around. E-wallet system is a kind of electronic

card which is utilized for exchanges made online through a PC or a cell phone. Its utility is same as a

credit card. An E-wallet should be connected with the person's bank account to make payments. This

paper aims to study about E-wallet system and how it can be implemented into INTI community. The

objectives of this project was to study about the current methods of making payments in INTI while

investigating how E-wallet system can be used to enhance payment experience and safety for INTI

community. After that, to design and implement a mobile application which is QR-code based and

lastly, to conduct testing for the proposed system to ensure the accuracy. For this project, the author

primarily used Android Studio as the software to develop the system and Firebase Real-Time database

to store and retrieve users' information. The project has demonstrated the basic needs of an E-wallet

System and showed that it is possible to be implemented in INTI.

(Quinn G et al., 2015) "RCSB PDB Mobile: IOS and Android mobile apps to provide data access

and visualization to the RCSB Protein Data Bank", The Research Collaboratory for Structural

Bioinformatics Protein Data Bank (RCSB PDB) resource provides tools for query, analysis and
visualization of the 3D structures in the PDB archive. As the mobile Web is starting to surpass desktop

and laptop usage, scientists and educators are beginning to integrate mobile devices into their research

and teaching. In response, we have developed the RCSB PDB Mobile app for the iOS and Android

mobile platforms to enable fast and convenient access to RCSB PDB data and services. Using the app,

users from the general public to expert researchers can quickly search and visualize biomolecules, and

add personal annotations via the RCSB PDB's integrated MyPDB service.

(Darvish H, Husain M, 2019) "Security Analysis of Mobile Money Applications on Android",

Mobile Money Applications are thriving due to the ease and convenience it brings to people, where it

offers to transfer money between people's bank accounts/cards with a few taps on a smartphone either in

the form of Mobile Banking or Mobile Payment Services. However, a key challenge with gaining user

adoption of mobile banking and payments is the customer's lack of confidence in the security of the

services, and that makes much sense because whenever people grant service access to their debit/credit

cards or bank accounts that automatically opens the door for identity thefts, fraudulent transactions, and

stolen money. Add to that, the fact that already people and developers are not giving much attention to

the security aspect of the applications. This paper consists of two parts: first, an intensive security

analysis on a selection of different mobile banking and mobile payment applications on Android

platform where 80% of the selected applications were found not following the best security measures.

And second, a thorough step by step Android security testing guide in the form of this paper to ease the

process of security testing any Android application to be used by developers, ethical hackers, and

anyone interested in testing the security of any application.

(Hayatin N et al., 2017), "The Development Of Mobile Application Based Customer

Service System in Bank Sampah Malang", Malang Waste Bank, or commonly called Bank Sampah

Malang (BSM), is a legal entity of incorporated cooperatives built by the Malang municipal government
serving as a container of waste management, especially dry waste. During this time, the customer

service process conducted in BSM has been not optimal, especially its online service. Some services

have been accessible online through website but the information is limited only to the list of prices and

types of waste received by BSM. While other necessary information needed by the customers such as

balance checking, garbage collection schedule checking, and information about the types of saving

managed by BSM has not been covered by the existing online system yet. This research has built an

online customer service system based on mobile applications and SMS gateways for BSM. The purpose

of the system is to facilitate the customers of BSM to obtain information about the garbage bank,

especially for customers having high mobility. Interviews and observation are used as the method of the

analysis of the system requirements. Meanwhile, the applications such as MySQL database, Web

service, PHP CodeIgniter, SMS Gateway and Android as a language programming are used to develop

the system. This system integrates android applications with web based applications by using web

service. This system is made so that customers get better service. Evaluation results show the system

that has been built has been successfully tested.
