Pets were the illegit daughters while resp legi of decedent. In 1983, the decedent sold 2 parcels to
petitioners in1983. Before he died, he revealed to resp of this fact. Resp sought to annul the deed of
sale but RTC dismissed the complaint. CA reversed ruling it was a simulated contract. SC affirmed.

Can a legitimate daughter

Yes, even if it were not simulated, it still won’t be valid for violating the law as it transgresses the
legitime of the respondent.
