Evidence: My view on Colombia

In Colombia, we have some traditions which are followed for everybody since a lot of years. For
example, when someone is about to get married, it’s usual to do a meeting with a few relatives
and friends whose bring some presents for the couple. Another common tradition take place when
somebody is pregnant and is about to give birth to a baby. Depending on the family’s preferences,
a lot or a little people is gathered to make what is called a “baby shower”, which is a kind of party
where some gifts are given for the coming baby. On the other hand, Colombia is a country with
plenty of gastronomic zones. In Antioquenian region, no one can avoid to taste a Bandeja Paisa,
which is the most typical plate, but, in my opinion, it has too much fat. In Cundinamarca and
Boyacá region, everybody eats Ajiaco, which is a soup made of a few potatoes' types, corn and
joined with a little crumbled chicken. Also, some little people like to eat exotics fruits such as
Borojo and Chontaduro, which are common in the Pacific region and wanted because of its
aphrodisiac properties, but, for me, these haven’t a good taste.
