Locus of control of urban people

We did a survey to understand the mentality of urban people. We want to know about how the
feel about themselves. After talking with 102 urban people with a questioner including 17
interpersonal questions we understand some things. Let’s see the results of our survey,
- In question 01, about 63% people are confident that they can understand the problem they
will face in the near future.
- In question 02, about 64% people thinks that they face numerous of problems because
they have lack of support.
- In question 03, 62% people thinks fate make their future and about 20% people feels
neutral.
- In question 04, 46% people are not confident. They think that they can overcome their
problem only when they’ll have outside help. The rest 54% are much more confident.
- In question 05, about 67% people are confident that they can work according to their
plan.
- In question 06 and 07, about 70% people thinks that problem doesn’t control their life
and they can overcome their problem by their own.
- In question 08, 60% people thinks that if they work hard they can change their fate.
- In question 09, 48% people thinks that outside matter affects their life.
- In question 10, about 50% people thinks that they need outside help.
- In question 11, 66% people thinks that they can’t control their life so that they face
problems.
- In question 12 and 14, about 50% people thinks they don’t have any physical problem
when they are in pressure.
- In question 13, 48% people are confident.
- In question 15 and 16, about 75% people are confident that they know why they face
problems and what things need to do to avoid it.
- In question 17, 66% people thinks that their fate controls their life and problems.
When we were preparing for survey, the initial thoughts about the urban people was like they
will be so depressed, have lack of confidence and with many problems to lead a sound life. But
after doing the survey the idea of them is completely changed. Now we know that, the urban
people are more confident than many advanced people. If we see the answers we can learn that,
- They are self-motivated.
- They can know when there will be problem arise and they also know how to overcome it.
- Some of them believe in fate and some believe in hard work.
- They can work plan wise and under pressure they usually don’t face any physical
problem.
- Maximum time they don’t ask for outside help but they really need it
- They believe that problem doesn’t rule their life.
