INTRODUCTION
CONCEPT & DEFINITION:
HISTORY OF SUPERANNUATION:

 A change to superannuation arrangements came about in


1983 through an agreement between the government and the
trade unions. ... In 1992, under the Keating Labor
Government, the compulsory employer contribution scheme is
introduced.
 Superannuation was started by Romans.
 Modern superannuation was introduced by keri philips, in
1991.
TYPES OF SUPERANNUATION:
BENEFITS OF SUPERANNUATION:

 It helps the employee to plan for their future life.


 It motivates the current working employee to work efficiently.
 It the additional amount paid by the employer for the sincere
services rendered by emplyoees.
 It reflects the institutional or organizational image.
 It helps to increase the productivity and quality directly or indirectly.
Disadvantages of superannuation:
 The majority of your savings will be locked for predefine dperiod.
 The funds will be tax efficient for those who has rate of less than 33%.
 There are costs over and above those you’d pay if you are paying directly.
 It also gives worry and pressure of work to the employees for their
performance and image
SUPERANNATION IN NURSING
 A superannuation is an organizational pension
program created by a company for the benefit of
its employees. It is also referred to as a company
pension plan. Funds deposited in a superannuation
account will grow, typically without any tax
implications, until retirement or withdrawal.For
nursing personal, it's very important regarding the
financial coverage of expenses after retirement.
The fund grows and at the time of retirement the
nursing officer gets money. Which is helpful for the
person to get along the basic amenities
SUMMARY:
 The primary purpose of a superannuation scheme is to
provide its members with financial resources and other
benefits during their retirement.
 Motivates the employees to do better work.
 Assure better future of employees by using superannuation.
CONCLUSION:
 It estimates are not very precise, but they suggest that, over the
past 35 years, about three-quarters of the variation in
superannuation help employees.
 There will be clear business advantages in some cases but not all.
 It is a nice way to think of future plans.
