until month of May as the season of summer in the Philippines. -- Alternatives

Significance of the Study


Philippines is known for its unique and rich biodiversity as its main tourist attraction for citizens
and residents from various countries around the world. Tourism plays an important sector for Philippine
economy which has a great contribution to the country’s Gross Domestic Product due to the impact of
tourism and travel industry in market world which become one of the international service trades in the
country. This research study could provide information on the role of travel agencies in the field of travel
and tourism industry. Further, this study would also discuss about what part of the year is the most
profitable for travel agencies which for the researcher the best time to visit the Philippines is month of
February until month of May, as the rainy season has long since passed and the slightly cooler
temperature makes it easier to full explore, as at this time, the country is fully accessible, including its
many beautiful islands and remote areas. Also, this study would discuss about different strategies of travel
agencies before, during, and after the travel season has ended as well as the effective advertisement to
promote and attract tourists. Likewise, the study would discuss the important role of internet particularly
social medias as best option to market and advertise travel and tourism services and products. This study
would be beneficial to the Travel Agencies in the field of travel and tourism industry as this study
enhance the knowledge of travel agents and travel services providers about how to be profitable annually.
Moreover, this study would be beneficial to the agents and tourists as this study would provide the
necessary information about tourist destination and wonderful time to visit the country. This would
expectedly heighten the awareness of travel agents to know the great time of the year to be profitable as
well as the how to create an effective and creative advertisement through the means of internet and social
medias. To the future researchers, this study can provide baseline information on the travel and tourism
industry of the economy with the help of existing technology in the country.
